Cultus Lake Mountain Retreat

Truly a hidden gem... This secluded mountaintop home in the woods is very quite and peaceful. I agree with the other reviews that the photos don’t do it justice. Five of us stayed each having their own large bedroom. Lots of games and activities, the group especially enjoyed the ping pong and poker tables. The indoor hot tub works great and has an amazing view looking out across the deck to the valley. There's TVs with no cable but lots of movies to choose from. Wifi works great which we used to watch the NHL playoffs. The host helped us navigate to the home and was very responsive throughout our stay. Overall, we made many great memories and I would highly recommend.

Beautiful

11 friends and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was an awesome stay. Like others say the photos do not do it justice.Locating the place was a little confusing but they gave us good directions and we had no problem getting there. The driveway up the hill is like an FSR but our friend did make it up no problem in a Tesla.Highly recommend to anyone looking to get out of the city and just be surrounded by nature and beautiful views !

Hidden Gem in the trees

What an amazing place! Like the previous reviews say, the photos don’t do it justice. 14 of us stayed here and everyone had a bed, the deck is breathtaking, it’s comfy and huge. So secluded and peaceful.

Amazing mountain retreat

We stayed at this gorgeous home for 5 days as a group of 16, with three generations sharing the home. The house was a hidden gem. Pictures do not do it justice. The deck is breathtaking. There are lots of towels and linens which is helpful for large groups. Very clean upon check in. Gorgeous home with comfort ale rooms and lots to enjoy in the house. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing this treasure with us

Wonderful home to stay in

We celebrated our wedding in this absolutely fabulous house and could not be happier with it. The house is so spacious - the pictures do not do it justice! It's beautiful from top to bottom with lots of places to spend time together. The scenery is beautiful and it feels like you're so much further from the City than you are. I loved every second we spent at the house and our guests all raved as well. We will treasure our time spent here - we gained memories for a lifetime.

Enjoy a Stay in an Exquisite Tree House Alone at the Top of a Mountain

We were overwhelmed with the beauty of this property's location. The time spent on the decks really feels like perching at the top of an old-growth evergreen. The house itself is beautiful and comfortable with lots of spaces for groups to find peace, and gather together. The location is proximate to Cultus Lake and all the activities located there, and it has easy access to Vedder and the necessities located in town. Melody and her team of family members are delightful, responsive and thoughtful about the guest experience. We enjoyed having our entire family around the dining table. We loved spending evenings out on the decks. We enjoyed the wildlife (bear!) Being together was our primary desire, and this property fit the bill beautifully. A couple of things I would point out that may not be included in the online description. (1) A four-wheel drive vehicle would be preferred - it's about a 7 minute drive up to the top of a mountain, with a lot of granite outcroppings and some steep drops and four or five switchbacks. There is very little maneuverability, so multiple cars on the same road could be problematic. (2) Plan to cook or go out for dinner - Door Dash and Uber are not delivering to the front door. (3) The owner provides binoculars - use them (even though we were there during a particularly smoky time, we spotted several hawks and an owl). (4) Consider bringing bee traps - whether smoke, or just wilderness, there were a good number of yellow jackets. Enjoy!

Annual family summer trip

Our stay at this home was absolutely amazing! From the beautiful views, to the exquiste lay out of the home - this home was everything our large family needed. There were 18 of us, age range from 0- 65 and the space fit us all without feeling like we were cramped. The hosts were quick in their responses, very accomodating and easy to interact with. The home was clean, with plenty of applicances to fit our large group. We loved the location and greenary that surrounded us.We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for giving us a space to create wonderful memories!

Cultus Lake holiday

The property is spacious and easily accommodated our five families. It was spotlessly clean and well-appointed. The double deck and swinging beds were a major attraction for the children. The views are magnificent. Access is via an unpaved driveway that takes you up the mountain to your secure perch. You feel remote but Cultus Lake and Chilliwack are very near. An excellent rental.

Cultus lake stay

We stayed for another work shift at this property, we previously stayed for a week the month before. Booked this property again because of the great amenities the house offers and the owners are great to deal with. Definitely if in the Chilliwack/Cultus lake area this property will be #1 on the list

Chilliwack mountain house

This property is outstanding everything advertised about the house is accurate and then some. We stayed for a work shift with a crew of 7 people for a week and the property is amazing, the view of Cultus Lake, The Chilliwack River valley, the city of Chilliwack and the Coast mountains to the East of Chilliwack is breathtaking. The house is equipped with absolutely everything you would need for an extended stay, the rooms are very spacious and the kitchen is stocked with all the cooking supplies you would need, The central air conditioner worked great to cool the house as it was 30 degrees during our stay. A beautiful large covered wrap around deck and hottub on the bottom floor make for a nice relaxing evening after work. I would certainly stay at this property again for either a personal trip or a work trip. It was a pleasure to deal with the hosts at this property, They were very easy to communicate with and accommodating to any needs we had. Thanks for the great stay
