You are going to experience complete privacy – as the property is located in a gated community with guards and full security. Set in the hills and surrounded by the Costa Rican jungle, the private driveway brings you to the beautiful property. Casa Asteria is located 115 meters above sea level in one of the most beautiful areas of Guanacaste. The quiet and unspoiled beach of San Juanillo (rated from Conde Nast traveler as 10 most beautiful beaches worldwide) is only a 13-minute drive away.

The entire property extends over 3 levels in two separate houses. The high-end luxury villa features 3 master suites and 3 1/2 baths, spread out over 4.820 sq. ft. You will experience scenic 180-degree views of the ocean along with a beautiful suspended infinity pool on the main level. The nearly 447 sq m space has high end finishes, and is a livable masterpiece which exudes contemporary luxury. The complete floor plan of the property is open and airy with walls of sliding glass that allow perfect indoor/outdoor entertainment and living. The sunsets from the main terrace are one of a kind. Every sunset here is truly spectacular.

The stunning living room has an open floor plan that includes an open kitchen, large dining table seating area, multiple patios, and amazing infinity pool. A full outdoor kitchen and social living area is equipped with a large dining table, BBQ grill, refrigerator, and ice-machine. The amazing view completes the unique ambience of this area.

There is one master bedroom on the upper level of the villa, which offers resort style luxury with spacious views of the ocean, sexy shower, and a designer bathtub. The second level of the three-level villa has the 2nd second master bedroom with en suite bathroom, and a private patio with direct access to the designer pool. The 3rd master bedroom with en suite bathroom, is located in the attached separate house of the villa, located above the outdoor kitchen area. This bedroom has a large terrace with an incredible view to the sea and surrounding nature, and offers a private, cozy and quiet setting.

The maximum capacity of the 3 individual bedrooms sleeps 6 adults and 3 children. In each of the bedrooms there is a comfortable fold-out bed, perfect for children. If one child or teen will sleep on the sofa, the maximum capacity would be 10 people.

All bedrooms and terraces have sweeping jungle, mountain, and ocean views. A great sunset pergola (set at the highest point of the property), offers even better views to the beaches of Guiones, the Pacific Ocean, mountains and valley, and invites you for a perfect cocktail at sunset and night-time star gazing.

The house is designed with modern features and is carefully decorated to offer most comfort and coziness. Each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning and the house has high speed internet throughout. For complete safety, the entire house is equipped with a water sanitizing and filtration system. There is a separate back up water tank in the house to ensure continued supply, even throughout shortages of water.

The bottom level of Villa Asteria offers an enclosed 2 car garage, and the outside parking area can host up to 5 cars easily. The helpful property manager who lives only 10 min away is easily accessible through WhatsApp to help with any questions, reservations, helpful hints and to ensure the most enjoyable time at Casa Asteria. If you prefer, a private chef can be arranged for your enjoyment.

Four of the most beautiful beaches (Playa San Juanillo, Playa Ostional, Playa Marbella and Playa Azul) can be reached in 7 to 15 minutes. You may spend your days savoring the serenity of the house or might decide to venture out to discover more Costa Rican adventures. From Canopy tours or horseback riding in the wild, fishing, turtle watching, surfing or relaxing on the beach, your stay will be a favorite destination.

There is a 7-day minimum booking requested. We offer special prices for monthly requests. We do not rent out for weekends only. We highly recommend a 4-wheel drive car during your stay. Since the house is for sale, we would like to inform you short appointments with potential buyers must be made possible during the rental period. All showings will only be scheduled after consultation with the renters.
