Perfect Fall Getaway

Perfect Family get-away

We stayed in September after the summer months. The lake was quiet & beautiful, we were able to walk to town for the Farmer's Market, dinner at night, and to grab a coffee. We spent 3 days biking & were able to come home and relax comfortably spreading out with lots of room.

Perfect!

Our family had a wonderful vacation! The cabin was just perfect for our growing family! We enjoyed Serpent Lake! (We brought a boat and jet skis!) The boat launch is real close by! We biked, played at the park, and enjoyed going to town for ice cream! We also tried a few restaurants and had amazing food!

Making memories

Our family loves everything about staying at the Cozy Lake Home. Spending time in and on the lake, going for walks into town, bike riding, and just enjoying the beautiful home. We had 6 adults, and six kids, and it worked perfect. We definitely made lasting memories with our kids and grandkids!

Another Great Week @ the Lake

This was our third summer staying at the lake home on Serpent in Crosby. We love what the cabin and the property offer; great yard, water, fishing, boating, walking distance to town and biking distance to bike trails (paved and dirt). Wonderful!

Our group of 5 adults and 4 children (ages 2 to 9 years) had a wonderful long biking weekend with this home as our main base. The house had everything we needed for our stay, was very conveniently located and the owners were fast to respond to any questions. Would definitely stay again!

Lake home

The house is very clean and fresh!! We appreciate the owners providing young living cleaning products ! The attention to details clearly states the owners care about their guest stay! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and then some! The beds are very comfortable with high quality bedding a definite plus!!! The grounds are perfect for yard games! The paddle boat was a great addition with life jackets for the little ones. My 5 yr. Old grand daughter was excited to fish for the first time and caught many sunnies and bass right of the dock! Serpent park- a 2 min. Drive is the best little treasure! The kids love the unique playground! Main street is a short walk away! Victuals IS A MUST !!! with the finest cheeses and the best homemade ice-cream!!! We look foward to a return vacation!

Family Vacation

We recently spent a week at this lovely property with our 3 adult children and 2 young grandchildren. The house and property served our needs perfectly, with plenty of room for cooking, eating, sleeping and enjoying the outdoors. Was very pleasantly surprised to discover an over abundance of towels, which was so appreciated. Within walking distance of the town of Crosby and the city park, and a short bike ride to get on a bike trail. We hope to make this a bi-annual event. Only one suggestion is a clothes line strung between a couple of trees would have been nice for drying towels and so forth. Thanks again for the wonderful accommodations and outstanding communication. Elizabeth and John

Wonderful Family Christmas

Beautiful lake home and simply a stunning place to spend celebrating the birth of Jesus with my family! The kitchen was perfect for cooking together and the dining room table was perfect for dinner and games!

Great Bike Trails!

We came to the area to use the bike trails and were not disappointed in the bike trails, nor the beautiful home where we stayed. The house was very clean, had plenty of space for our family to sleep, eat, and move around during our stay. My only suggestions to anyone staying here would be to make sure and bring napkins and paper towels, and a space heater for the porch if you are coming during a cool time of the year. They provided a beginning supply of paper towels, which was very much appreciated, but they ran out quickly and we needed to run to the store for more. We look forward to rebooking at this home again!

Wonderful weekend in Crosby

Beautiful stay on the lake, and enjoyed walking into Crosby, fun playground for the kids, farmers market, brewery, and top it all off with the ice cream shop! The property fit our family group, excellent. We are going back!

Beautiful home on a lovely lake.

This house is incredibly. Lovely and comfortable. Very quiet location and just a couple of blocks from the town center. Way. Offer than we needed for two people but we enjoyed it immensely. The only problem we had was accessing the entry code on VRBO, apparently an app problem. But the owners were swift in responding and getting us the code. I grew up in Crosby but it has sure changed. Good food and increasingly interesting shops and of course the beautiful bike trails.

Best week of summer!

This was our second week at The Lake House and it couldn’t have been better. The house is set up so perfectly, fully stocked with everything needed to stay organized, cook up a storm, and relax. The porch is a dream on both sunny and rainy days, and we spent hours out there playing games and reading. The house has many places to spread out for quiet time, and bedrooms are spacious and comfy. Downtown Crosby is just blocks away, and has wonderful restaurants and shops. We brought our own boat and the guest dock is perfect. Our kids love the swimming platform, too — and dozens and fish were caught off the dock. The property is lovely with beautiful pines, shade and fire pit. We can’t wait to come back!

Family vacation at the cabin was great. We got into the water a few times. The house was cozy.

Beautiful location. Nice cozy cabin. Everything you needed was there. We had rain for a couple days which was a damper but all in all we had a great time.
