Staff were amazing!! Food and drinks were some the best I’ve had at an all inclusive, we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were also clean and comfy. I definitely recommend especially if you like snorkelling… the snorkelling right in front of the resort was great too! If I ever come back to Cozumel I will be staying here again:)

Room was spacious and clean. Had good, safe snorkeling on site. It’s a smaller facility so everything is close and it doesn’t feel overwhelmingly big. Easy access to shopping and tours.

The food was buffet for every meal, which was usually cold . The staff ignored you , usually didn’t say hello when you entered the dining room, except to scan your room number. Then they spent most of the time talking to each other at the bar area , while you had to chase someone to get an extra drink… unless you were a “paying” guest, not an “”all inclusive” one. They had 2 outside lunch bar-b- que where food was out there for 3 hours in the sun, the cheese congealed, the flys landed on the spoons which had caked on food from being used used by everyone. Y to he hot food was cold, the cold food with mayo was not cold. The man who cooked the meat took it with his bare hands, putting chicken, burgers or hardened pork ( in a melted ice bowl), to put it on the grill,then added the lettuce, tomatoe, onion on a bun. We were never allowed to order off the menu for the ten days we were there. We were not very happy with the variety of food. Had to ask for salt and pepper every day, butter also. We have stayed here many years and we watched the food and service decrease

Easy access to dive boats, staff very nice & accommodating. Swim up jacuzzi bar was nice. Lots of chairs around the pool & beach, towel service. Some small maintenance issues in our room, which staff attended to immediately, & moved us to another room. All was good after that.

Staff was outstanding. Food was wonderful. First all inclusive that out group of 6 ate 3 meals a day. Generally we only tend to eat breakfast and lunch at the resorts we stay at and go out into town for a much better option. But El Cids food was outstanding and we dined exclusively there the entire week.

We had a great time at El CID La Ceiba. The staff really make this place wonderful. Everyone we encountered was friendly and had a big smile on their face. The rooms are a little dated but they were clean and that’s all I really care about.

Our sole purpose is scuba diving. We enjoy staying at El Cid/La Ceiba as the property is always clean and the staff are always welcoming and warm.

Good experience. The "All Inclusive" food offering was decent. Staff were very good. Room was not fancy, but clean and nice enough. Only one pool and fairly small. We mainly use the hotel for a place to eat and sleep while not scuba diving and it worked for that.

We had a really good time, room was nice and spacious and bed was comfy with great working AC (we have stayed at several other resorts and this seems to be a struggle). We scuba dive and the dive shop was right there and they were so helpful. Food was really good and the menu had a lot of options. I wish there was more things to do in the evening at the resort. Once the ships leave everything around there shuts down.

Highly recommend getting a massage while on property. Staff was very nice and attentive. Food was good with plenty of options despite only having one restaurant available. Furniture in room was outdated but functional. Great stay and of course, the views and accessibility to the water was fantastic!
