Lovely hotel, situated away from the hustle and bustle of town but within walking distance. Lovely pool and nice balconies (we had one of the higher rooms). Close to shops. The breakfast was average, on par with most other resort breakfasts - nothing really to complain about. The staff were lovely and helpful and recommended things to do in the area. Nice setting and interiors. Would recommend to others but would stay somewhere else if we were to go again as we like to try different places!
The hotel is located a very short distance from the beach in the quiet part of Lloret. I booked a single room which was more than adequate. It had a comfortable double bed, and balcony overlooking the pool. The shower was excellent - wish I could have this at home! I booked half board as it didn't make much difference to the price. I wasn't overly impressed by the food and never quite looked forward to eating, mostly opting for pasta as it seemed the safest option. Too often it wasn't quite hot enough and not of a fantastic standard. There was a reasonable selection of different foods though, it was just the quality slightly lacking. If you like your desert you'll be disappointed as there wasn't much on offer and it was usually the same most nights! One complaint, which is common in many hotels is having to pay extra for the safe key - it was €4 a day which I think is outrageous. When you're already paid for your room and knowing a stranger will be coming in to clean it every day then you shouldn't be forced to pay extra to keep your passport/money safe. I took the chance by not paying and thankfully nothing was taken, but I think hotels should really include this in the price. There's no cost involved to them whether you use it or not, and it feels rather like you are being taken advantage of. These small things matter and that should matter to the management too. I can't comment on the air-con as it wasn't warm enough to require it. As others have said the pool is small and overlooked rather, it also doesn't attract much sun but with the beach so close (and pleasant) I didn't use it. You can walk to the bus station (15 minutes) and catch a bus to Barcelona quite easily; which I would recommend. The livelier bars are not too far away although September is obviously not peak season. The staff are reasonably friendly and helpful if you need advice. The hotel itself is very well kept and clean, and would suit people looking to stay in a quieter part of Lloret at an affordable price.
Me and my girlfriend were in the hotel for 7 night. We have breakfast and dinner included. Hotel is on great location, 5 minute walk to the beach in the pretty quiet part of LLoret de Mar. Hotel is clean, and secure. The rooms are under 3 star rate of the hotel. In our room the bed is probably the worst bed I ever slept in some hotel. Whey under rate of 3 star hotel. We want one twin bed, but we get two separated, but connected beds. Beds were literally auxiliary beds, and they were short for both of us for at least 5 cm. (I'm 187 cm tall.) About food: Breakfast is good. I don't have complains about that. Dinner is rich, there is at lest 5-7 different meals, but everything has taste of fish. Meat also have some different taste than normal, and often have a taste of fish.
good location, nice pool area.. friendly staff.. 5mins stroll to the beach. plenty bars and restaurants.. great place for holiday. will be going back.. coach journey from airport a bit long and stressful..
Stayed here for a 10 day with husband and enjoyed our stay very much. Staff were friendly and helpful The outside of the hotel and lobby are very pretty especially at night with all the lights on the balconies. The bathrooms are clean and modern but the bedrooms could do with some updating, especially the beds which are not that comfy.
Stayed at this hotel for 10 nights from 20th of September. Hotel bigger than I anticipated but still had a family feel to it. All staff very nice particularly on reception desk. A bit shocked to be asked for 7 euros tax as soon as arrived at 23.30. Plus 32 euros for the safe (if wanted it) and 1 euro a day for wi fi ( I just paid for a day to send a couple of emails). A bit taken aback by small size of pool and the fact it, and all loungers, are overlooked by all rooms and all surrounding buildings, but got used to this. Loungers and pool hardly used. Sunshine after about 11am until 4pm. The room balcony also small but that seemed normal for local hotels, and shaded until 4pm but nice to be able to sit until 6pm in the sun at the end of the day. I would ask for a room further round if I went again maybe on 5th floor. Our room was more than adequate in size. Good size bathroom with huge shower and two shower head options. It was swept every day but floor still very dirty a lot of the time. Very happy that the outside lights all went out at midnight and we were told that anyone making a noise later than that would be told off! We were warned that we had to ensure doors firmly shut before air-con came on so had no problems with that and it was very efficient. Lack of curtains threw me a bit on night one, but then realised the slatted doors could block all light out. Mosquitos got in on day 7 so got bitten quite a lot, but can’t blame hotel for that. Breakfast not that exciting but plenty of it and did include fruit and yogurt (though mainly bright pink stuff). One day we had nice wholemeal seeded bread but other than that it was Mothers pride white or brown mostly. Dinner a bit utilitarian the first few nights but seemed to improve. Everything very salty, even for my taste. A bit cool, and fatty, but microwave helped with that. A quiet hotel, that grew on me as the time passed. Mostly couples and not many of them when we were there. Certainly not full of young people drinking and shouting. Some noise from the scooters struggling to get up the hill in front of the hotel! Had an invasion of school children on day 9 who were as noisy as only teenagers can be, but manageable as we were near the end of holiday. They were out most of the day but did mean increased competition at meal times and getting down early! Bar never attended when we were there and never offered a drink with meals, but could have asked apparently. Lack of water with dinner was a shame - other than bottled at extra cost. A fridge in the room would have been great but would have cost more so managed without. Since no one sat in bar and there was no atmosphere we didn’t bother to go there (or anywhere else for a drink after dinner) Quiet end of town though still too many people jumping on you if you even look at their goods. But plenty of shops if you wanted them. Beach five mins away and sea gorgeous. Sand rather coarse if that bothers you – good for getting hard skin off your feet! Good walks well worth doing but some very steep bits and the estimate of time and distance dubious very often. Generally everyone very friendly but in many cases the customer service only “almost” hit the mark. For instance the Tourist office people missed out some crucial bits about the fact you could walk to the location of the nearest Iberian settlement but could NOT actually see the layout unless you got way above it (somehow). Also the fact the fifteen euro bus ticket that included two days of multiple stops and entry to “the gardens” of which 3 mentioned, didn’t actually include the best one where there was an extra 13 euros to pay! Not the fault of tourist office ( rather the bus company info badly misleading) but tourist office well aware, just didn’t mention. Came across rather a lot of these examples of “almost but not quite” good service. We flew into Barcelona but it was a 1.5 hr transfer going and 3 hours back so worth weighing up the pros & cons of going to Girona before booking flights/transfers. I think we would go back, and certainly to that part not the more noisy, tourist orientated end of town, but with some provisos and more awareness.
Just returned from four nights at this hotel. Location is 10 minutes walk from main shopping, bar areas slightly longer to the beach. We were very disappointed by the breakfast. From the UK take traditional breakfast. One day beans, next day boiled eggs, next day fried dried scrambled eggs, next day bacon. Fresh fruit was apples. Salad was tomatoes, lettuce, sweetcorn. Cereal was corn flakes, rice crispies, Coco pops. No yogurts or fruit. Rooms basic. Mattress very soft, Beds were like put me up camp beds the metal frame type. Rooms not very clean around the edges. We were the only ones from the UK at the time. Pool area was clean. Staff on reception was very very friendly. They covered the bar area as well as reception duties. Very quite hotel. was full at the time. Breakfast finished at 10am. At 10am the lights went off to indicate times up. On the hole you only get what you pay for. £65 per night inc breakfast.
Stayed here for a week with 3 children and enjoyed our stay very much. Staff were friendly and helpful The outside of the hotel and lobby are very pretty especially at night with all the lights on the balconies. The bathrooms are clean and modern but the bedrooms could do with some updating, especially the beds which are not that comfy. Was pleased that the pool is larger than it appears in some photos and also gets plenty of sun between 11.30 and 4 ish despite what some other reviews have said. The breakfast was very popular with my 5&6 year olds and the staff always made sure they had everything they needed. Only thing I would change is that there is no outside bathroom by the pool and my children kept getting told off and sent back by lady on reception when they needed to use the bathroom in the lobby. I always made them sit in the sun for a few minutes to dry off and put shoes on but it was impossible to dry them completely. I would definitely stay here again though
The hotel itself was very nice and cozy, the rooms were VERY large and convenient for a party of 3 people. We recieved a room fit for 3 with 3 big enough beds for everyone, and a nice balcony. Sadly, the Wi-Fi wasn't covered and was only available at the lobby, so we missed out on that. The breakfast was nice... but very fat-ish with alot of fried food and greasy stuff we didn't like very much so we skipped it after the following morning. Aside of that - the staff were amazing to us and very helpful at everything we wanted, and the hotel was basically near everywhere around the town.
With a little difficulty, we found the hotel , which is near to local shops, local restaurants and beach. We were given one of rooms in the top floor. Room was clean and bed was average in term of comfort. But, toilet was very clean and modern. The view from the balcony was limited. all you can see is buildings across the street and the hotel's swimming pool. But it's better than not have any balcony, where you can get some air and dry your clothes. The break fast provided was simply the best. The Quality of breads, croissants, fruits etc were really good and plentiful. Nothing big to criticize beside Wifi. Although WiFi was free , but it was not working in the room, so we have to stay around reception area to use Wifi.
