We came to stay here and we were quite shocked at the hygiene in the place. We walked in and we could smell dampness. Then found that the curtains in the living room were too short so there was not enough privacy. I ended up hanging blankets up at night. The bathroom had mould all over the tiles and a large chip in the bath was covered up by a bath mat. WiFi signal was rubbish. On the plus side; There is a free shuttle service down town till 6pm. The town is lovely. Lots of shops. Places to eat, boat trips castles to visit. It’s a good place to visit but you quickly run out of things to do. For the price we paid we could have got a better cleaner apartment.
Stayed at Els Llores for 7 nights. We stayed as a couple and had another couple with us, who were situated a few apartments away. Both apartments were very nice. We had the sea view, however we were a little way away from the sea but it was nice to be able to see the sunrise and sunset over the horizon. We actually liked the location of the hotel, it is in a quiet spot slightly away from the real business of the town. However it's only a 15-20min easy stroll to the heart of the town and the lovely beaches promenade and coastal walks. There are a vast number of bars and restaurants in the town to suit everyone's tastes. There is a lively 'clubbing' area but it didn't affect our stay at all. The hotel also does an excellent taxi service to and from the beach, supermarkets and bus station completely free. This is an amazing service and made shopping and carrying the heavier stuff so much easier, although it finishes at about 6.30pm. We found the walk back easy and did it every evening. There is a very nice bar and restaurant at the hotel, it is reasonably priced and the food is good, we ate there twice and had many drinks there. Staff were attentive and very friendly. Apartments were spacious, very clean, well equipped. It's not a major problem taking your own rubbish to the big bins provided. Bin bags and a cleaning kit was provided and everyone gets their €50 deposit back. Pool area was OK, plenty of sunbeds but they were a bit rickety. We had a lovely stay at this apartment. WORD OF WARNING....... There are pickpockets operating in Lloret, they tend to hang around the coastal path were the pathways narrow and you don't realise they are so close. 2 ladies in their late 20s early 30s operating together. My husband was pushed (not aggressively) more of a distraction, by one lady and caught the other lady with her hand inside his bum bag! She had undone the zips and was trying to get his wallet. We reported it to the police who detained them. Once the police arrived many disturbed holiday makers came forward to say they had been done too and had lost money and goods. Be prepared it is easily avoided if you are aware.
Where do I start, nice clean basic apartments with enough equipment to tackle self catering .Staff very friendly and always helpful, the gents that do the complementary taxi service are friendly and helpful for local knowledge. Taxi will pickup/drop of at three locations bus station, beach and supermarket from 9am to 6pm.Pool is clean and the kids loved the inflatable slide and play area. It's worth noting that these apartments are set away from the busy town and is a good 25min walk in to the main town and beach. We often got the free taxi in to town in the afternoon and walked back in the evening. There is a €50 deposit on the apartment , in case of damage and being left dirty. Even if you think leaving bits for the cleaners is being nice ,they want it cleared.Overall a great holiday at a quiet location . Staff even put on a Halloween party.
Stayed here for 4 nights with my wife and 13yr old daughter. My wife had surgery 6 weeks before and this was a Facebook cheapy offer last minute to cheer her up. If you are arriving by coach be warned they drop you off about 200m at the bottom of quite steep hill. Normally this wouldn't have cost us a thought but something to be aware of you have mobility problems. The apartments felt far out from the town because of the multiple drops by coach and bizarre route he took. Lots of scratching his head before heading off to next hotels. It was dark by the time we arrived and we were given a apartment in block C which is furtherest away right around back. The "street" light outside our block was only lit 1 night which made it very dark. It began to rain and we were a bit downhearted by the time we got to our apartment door. The apartment was clean and perfectly sized for the 3 of us. Nothing luxurious but everything you could need. This may seem like quite a negative review so far but actually this turned out to be one of the best places I have stayed ever! The pool area was excellent and the staff at reception and the bar/restaurant were fantastic. Nothing too much trouble and genuinely friendly. The apartments are on a bit of a hill on edge of the centre of Lloret. The couple staying next to us said it took them 10 mins to walk in to centre. We availed of the free minibus in and got a taxi back out. We have stayed in the madness of lloret centre before and can appreciate these apartments are actually in a ideal location, close enough for everything but far enough to relax. The food served at apartments was excellent. Typically geared towards UK tastes.Very good value, we ate here most of the time. There is free wifi around the bar and reception but you also purchase super fast broadband for your apartment. We all really enjoyed this place and look forward to making a return next year but this time we will book a apartment overlooking the pool.
It was a lovely hotel clean and comfortable beds. The food was lovely and I'm vegetarian and I had a good choice. Loved the cocktails and the jug prices were bril we borrowed a iron a few times which was great. Was good to use the WiFi. The service of the courtesy car was fabulous and we became regular users. Salvadore always so smiley and helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Stayed at els llorers for a week in October. Self catering holiday so wasn't expecting anything special. The apartments are very spacious and equipped with all you need for your stay. We didn't have a kettle in our room but we could of gone to reception if we wanted to. Our view was of the mountain and was pretty cold because we wasn't in the sun at all. Didn't bother us as we barely stayed in the room. The bigger pool area was ok apart from the flies and ants which never left you alone. There were flies all over lloret so not the hotels problem. The pool was absolutely freezing at this time of year, some kids ventured into it but it really did take your breath away. The hill isn't so bad when you het used to it and it's a nice walk into the town. Can use the shuttle bus for free but there is often a wait although we was lucky each time and didn't have to wait. Shuttle driver is lovely and will drop and pick you up if you give them a call. Reception staff are very nice and will help with anything. I would advise going to the bigger supermarket for your shopping and get the shuttle back it's a lot cheaper than the little shop down the road. The food near the pool is super nice and reasonably cheap and the staff there are very friendly and chatty. Ants on the bar which isn't nice but your only waiting for a drink. The beach front is a nice place but over all lloret is very run down and a lot of graffiti. We got picked up at 4am for the airport (taxi) not transfer so can't make a comment on that but in the rush of leaving early and sleeping in I left my Pandora ring on the side. Our taxi man was the shuttle driver so I told him our room number and that I'd left my ring. I called the hotel and they had gone and found it for me. They posted it out to me and I received it within 5 days. Very grateful as it was a gift from my daughter. I would recommend these apartments and would go back but in the summer months.
Just returned after one week stay in this place, after booked at the last minute . it was a Small Left catering apartment less than 05 minutes drive from Lloret beach. Very nice staff, very cooperative facilitating in every respect. Guided us for all the nice places around the area in every step of the way, Rooms were nice as well. kitchen were well equipped. Though bedding and quilts's quality should be improved. A nice bar and restaurant as well
Me and my family have just came from a weeks stay here,we were in a room for 6people and what can I say apart from no ovens even though self catering apartments, damp in passage wall, mound and damp in bathroom door, toilet leaking and smelt really bad which I reported twice and still not been fixed was using the towels I got to clean it up,birds nest in vent and was full of flys in the rooms you were swarmed in them, kareoki man said kids are annoying when they keep putting songs on not kid friendly he was, attitude was rotten of him,10min walkbto beach which is no big deal at all A’s was a nice walk, only reason I gave it 2*was cause staff at bar were very friendly and good with kids. Oh and they assume if you are a big family that you are noisy as we had complaint 1st day got there and had been reported few days before we arrived but yet she said I assumed cause you are a big family it came from here, safe to say my travel documents cleared it up that we had only arrived the day she came to us
My family got home today from a week at Els Llorrers and we loved it, Check in was easy, the room was clean and spacious enough for 4 of us, the sea view over the pool area is beautiful, The bar downstairs serves good food and great cocktails, Arun and the staff can't do enough for you, That man deserves a raise! The shuttle service between the bus station, beach or supermarket works brilliantly, we were never waiting very long, The only down point was some very noisy holiday makers and their screaming kids, but that's not the hotels fault and hopefully you will get nicer people than the cackling hags and feral offspring we spent the last few days ignoring! All in all a lovely place in a nice resort, would visit again
Short Autumn break for family of 4 so no need for anything such as Air Con, Sunny Balcony or luxury, which is just as well as Els Llorers hasn't any of these. The hill outside is great for hill starts (if your hire car needs it or you have skateboarder types to entertain themselves) but no good if you use a mobility scooter or are dodgy on your legs. The Reception staff are excellent and nothing troubles them, awesome. The apartment is basic which means its clean and erm, er, let me think.......yes the shower is a tap contraption and works very well, and its clean, again. Walls are anorexically thin as are the floors so we heard everything form the other apartments, good job it wasn't illegal! Its on the end of Lloret on the Tossa side so no chavs and the old town is far better than the strip which frankly is a dump, typical of places anyone over 22 avoids. There was a Karajokey Spanish man on the Sunday who means to sing songs seriously but can't and was so funny, otherwise entertainment was nil. We can recommend hiring a car and go to Tossa and Girona, simply fantastic towns, Games of Thrones is being filmed at Girona Cathedral soon. Otherwise great short break with the best staff.
