Great weekend getaway

Location of home was amazing near the pool, pretty stocked kitchen and nice layout to share house with another family. The double king bedrooms was what made us rent, we will be back next year!

Great place to stay!

The house is very spacious, elegant and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you may need. Perfect for our family of 5 adults and two children. The master bedroom downstairs with a king bed was perfect for the grandparents. Great for a family vacation! I definitely recommend this house.

1st Flr Location of Main Living and Kitchen Areas

Most other places at this location have the Main Area on the 2nd Flr which means stairs and more stairs, not to mention lugging food and drinks up and down. We rented 4 Condos and all loved our setup

Amazing Stay! Perfect Getaway!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Palmilla Beach: Shore Break and couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail. The property was exactly as described—if not better—and it was fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, offering beautiful views and easy access to [local attractions, beaches, trails, etc.]. The outdoor space was a highlight, providing a serene setting to relax and unwind. The hosts were incredibly responsive and provided excellent recommendations for local dining and activities. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable retreat. I’ll definitely be returning in the future!

Spacious Great Location Needs Some Major Love Our family of 4 adults and 2 grandkids stayed for 4 nights during spring break. The house is very spacious and perfect size for the family. The location is perfect and close to the pools and on-site restaurants. I would rate the stay a 3/5 overall. We have stayed at a few other properties (including right next door) in Palmilla and this one just didn’t score high marks compared to them. The backyard was enclosed which kept the grands inside and the fire pit was a nice amenity however it rained a few times so the wood was wet and unusable and the lawn became fairly muddy. The porch is divided weirdly one side outside of kitchen had a step down but the side deck didn’t and wasn’t connected. The beds were comfortable but would recommend additional blankets which were no where to be found. The kitchen was fairly equipped. The skillets and sheet pans were well loved. Some of the appliances - microwave - didn’t work so they had a cheaper counter top version available. The grill doesn’t get hot enough to grill burgers but we found a table top electric griddle instead. The living room furniture (couch specifically) needs to be deep cleaned. It is very dirty and stained. The WiFi didn’t work for 2/4 days there. We did send notes to Vacasa and they were able to get Spectrum out on the next business day. Location is great but for price we will not return to this location unless some Improvements are made.

Then we had no hot water to take showers after driving 5 hrs and going to the beach and then no gas to cook dinner. The property owner did give me a credit which is appreciated but it was very frustrating for everyone especially the children to have to take cold showers and eating cereal for dinner.

Awesome floor plan for kids and seniors

The photos don't do this property justice. It is incredibly comfortable and well done. Master Bedroom on main level with open concept kitchen and living with a huge island. Excellent media center. The kids LOVED having their own media room upstairs. I LOVED the outdoor space. My 80 yo aunt LOVED having her swanky bedroom on main level. If you have a senior in the group, don't hesitate booking this property. I was extremely impressed with the high quality furnishings and original paintings. Impeccable taste, perfectly clean, comfortable beds, great baths. We read previous reviews about mosquitos and flies and took lots of tools to combat that - never encountered a single insect. One interesting thing we noticed in the complex, which is amazing, and the Oasis pool the highlight of the trip, but most of the properties have a narrow path between them. Shore Break had a nice sized green space and outdoor seating area on main level right off the living room. It added to the ambience of the interiors, with all views looking outdoors, rather than at a neighbor. Overall Palmilla and this property created an excellent vacation experience for our family group. We would return in a heartbeat.

Beautiful, but..

The location and views were stunning, and the property itself was immaculate and well-maintained. The beachfront access made it incredibly convenient for hauling all beach necessities. However, there were some notable drawbacks. The beds throughout the property were quite uncomfortable, lacking the support needed for a restful night's sleep. Additionally, all of the pillows were unsupportive, which detracted from the overall comfort. Also, the blankets provided had an unpleasant smell.. The kitchen sink started to drip underneath after we washed our dishes but we just put towels underneath. I reached out to the Vacasa team and they didn't seem too interested. For the price to stay here, you'd think everything would be running smoothly. 8.5/10 experience.

more eating places on the resort

Pallmilla Beach resort needs more eating places and longer hours open during peak season. if you want to eat during the week you go into town and wait 2 hours for a table. Everywhere is crowded. The pool area is great but they stop serving food at 2pm and drinks close at 5. They don't have any breafast being served on the resort and in town is packed with the few places close by.

Very Well Appointed

I was in unit 171 Sunset Ave. I checked out on 6/25/22. It is so comfortable and well appointed. These two do not always go together. I used it for an annual marketing meeting with three members of our staff residing there. Great place to stay. I have a request-I ask that you all retrieve the two expensive pillows I left on the first floor bedroom and contact me.

Flys. Construction. Frat parties at pool.

Hundreds of flies (alive ones) inside the house when we arrived which proved to be a constant battle during our stay. Construction 7 days a week. Blocked parking spaces by construction vehicles. Porta potty and dumpster right next to driveway. Construction looks like it will be bad till late 2024 at least. We found out the hard way that the master bathroom has an unrestricted view by the second story of the house next door which is under construction. We were not pleased when we found them watching our shower. We had to put paper up in the windows to block the shower view of the construction workers. All “guest” amenities need to be booked way in advance otherwise impossible to get. Beach is not private. Rather they try and stake a claim on a public beach which doesn’t prevent people from setting up in front of you. The community pool was always filled with dueling Bluetooth speakers and frat boys throwing footballs and pushing each other as our kids tried to swim. Even during the family movie night at the pool incredibly drunk dudes had a yelling match while replaying scenes of their football glory days. The house is nice but lacked many essentials that you would normally expect on a VRBO. The entire place is ran by kids. No joke. The oldest worker I encountered was 25 at best. We emailed the host on day one with no response. Don’t stay here. I warned you.

Nice beach house

Very nice beach house close to beach and resort pool area . Enjoyed house with outside sitting area around fire pit. House equipped with everything you need for cooking . Very nice house for enjoying your family and having some beach time .

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice beach house with modern amenities. Great open floor plan with kitchen overlooking living room. Bedroom on first floor has incredible bathroom. Upstairs game room has great bunk bed and TV area. Toiletries and beach towels were a nice touch.
