Nice place and good location

Overall we were happy with this place. There were a couple of things that could have been better. 1. We never got any communication on check-in or other house details until we contacted the host. 2. There were no instructions for WIFI access, house rules, check-out, or any other communication at the unit or from the host. 3. Slight smell of roach spray throughout the unit. 4. Never got WIFI access even though we asked for it by text.

Not Fancy, but a Handy Location

This unit is on the south arm of Corpus Christi Bay, with close access to food stores, bait shops, and easy access to the highway/causeway heading out to the Gulf. We stayed here for the fishing opportunities. We are not frequent patrons of VRBO properties, so I'm not sure about "normal" amenities. This rental did seem to be missing a few common things: drinking glasses (only plastic cups provided), a baking pan, measuring cups, dish drying rack (no dishwasher in this unit), a dustpan to go along with the provided broom, and a couple of chairs and maybe a coffee table for the little balcony. But we made the best of things and enjoyed a peaceful stay on the waterfront.
