* The house had many items that did not work.
TV in the downstairs bedroom. Burnt out lightbulbs in the bathroom and bedrooms.
* Parking instructions did NOT include those cars parked outside in the "marked parking spot, or guest parking" MUST have a parking permit. Therefore, our car was almost towed away. We had to beg the driver not to tow the car ($400 towing and recovery fee) until we spoke to the VRBO representative.
* The pull-out sleeper sofa had corn nuts (candy) all over the mattress. There was NO proper cleaning of that sleeping area.
* One sofa was so worn out that when my 72-year-old family member sat on it, he could not get off it without assistance.
* Garage was dirty/sandy.
* Entry area was very dirty and had spider webs. Needed some upkeep.
* Major road construction blocked the entry area to this condo complex. While we could get in, we had to take a gravel road entry - it was raining, and our car got muddy/dirty. Driving on this roadway at night made it extra dangerous - no lighting, street barrels, etc., along the roadway and to the entry of the condo complex. The website did not advise about any road construction.
On the upside, the owners allowed an early check-in.
