Life By The Sea - OBX

We did it! We went on vacation in the summer of 2021 to the Outer Banks. As we drove around and explored the different towns, we fell in love with Corolla. So much so, that we were under contract to buy our own piece of paradise before our vacation was over. We welcome you to our home, Life By The Sea. Do not worry that this is a new place to stay. John has been an Air BNB host, is a Realtor, and we always stay at vacation rental properties. We know what to expect and provide our guests so they have a great stay and vacation.



Life By The Sea features 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms to sleep up to 10 people. The bedrooms consist of 1 King sized bed, 2 Queen sized beds, 2 twin bunk beds and inhouse Laundry. The home is pet friendly. It has been completely updated with newer kitchen, bathrooms, 2 wrap around decks, and off-street parking for up to 4 cars. Home features a Hot Tub, gas grill, and outdoor furniture. The home will provides board games, 5 televisions with streaming service, cornhole outdoor game, beach chairs, coolers,and a relaxing hammock.



The location is wonderful. Located in the quiet Crown Point subdivision.We are on a beach block,7 houses away from the beach access, less than a block from the Large Community Pool, and Tennis Court. The pool is generally open from Labor Day through the end of September. You will also enjoy the fact that if you like to walk or be within 3 minutes of civilization. You will find the grocery store, farmers market, several restaurants, beach stores all about 1 mile way. If the family wants something to do in the same area you can find miniature golf and go-carts. There are plenty of other adventures within 10 minutes like Corolla Adventure Park, Corolla Lighthouse, 4x4 Beach, along with bike, scooter, and golf cart rentals. You can also drive 15 minutes and visit Duck.



We are pet friendly. Some booking sites do not populate the pet fee. It is $45 for 1 dog and $75 for 2. Anymore please reach out to the owner. If booked with an outside site you will pay these to the owner prior to check in.

All the comforts of home while enjoying the beach

What a wonderful stay- check in was a breeze and the house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was very well equipped to allow for us to cook on some days. The home is in a very nice neighborhood- we enjoyed feeding the turtles and the neighborhood pond, the pool and got lots of use of the hot tub. So many extras that were also a huge benefit….beach toys, beach chairs and great deck space for outdoor relaxation. We would definitely stay at “Life By the Sea” again.

Excellent beach vacation

This house is exactly as shown. Very clean and easy check in. Most all amenities were available. We did buy laundry detergent and extra paper towels/TP. All beach necessities are provided sans beach towels (cart, chairs, umbrellas, toys). Just a few houses from the beach! A short drive to the driveable beach access. John was very responsive with any questions about the property. Would recommend for return! Thank you!

Perfect getaway

This was the perfect house for our relaxing getaway. Just a short walk to the beach to enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The house was clean, and we had plenty of space to relax and spend time together. The house had everything that we needed. It was a huge plus that we were able to bring our fur babies with us. We will be staying again when we come back to the OBX.

Life at the Beach

What a beautiful home! It was spacious, comfortable, impeccably cared-for, and had every amenity we could want. It was steps from the ocean, and the community pool, with a beautiful hot tub on the property. The kitchen was well equipped, and the owner was attentive to every question and could not have been more gracious or accommodating. We loved our stay here, and would love to return. We were walking distance to shops and and the arcade with and our young kids loved feeding the turtles around the corner in the retention pond after dinner every night. We love the OBX, and this rental exceeded our expectations.

Best place we’ve stayed!

This property exceeded our expectations in every way. The home was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The new hot tub was wonderful. There were games, puzzles, and books for guests to use. The community pool was awesome, and the ocean was literally only steps away. We were able to bring our dog which was a huge bonus for us, and she loved laying on the upper deck watching the neighbors walk by. The community is quiet and convenient to shops and restaurants. The owner, John, was super helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!
