Come visit our stunning “Hideaway” Arrive in style with your 4x4, cruise over in your own boat to the private dock, or take a quick ten-minute “Water Taxi” from Knott’s Island, NC. No matter how you get here, you’ll step into your own secluded retreat.

The cozy 1 Bed, 1 Bath (w/ Shower&Bath) cottage is just a short walk or drive from the beach. It’s a paradise for fishermen and adventurers alike, where the famous Corolla wild ponies roam freely.

Soak in the bubbly hot tub. Relax on the hammock or outdoor covered seating area w/ gas grill, or make use of the many kitchen appliances, take advantage of our complimentary kayak and paddle board for some fun on the water. Boat dock is shared: water level is average 4ft deep and can accommodate 21ft boat.

IMPORTANT NOTE: A 4-wheel drive vehicle is required to access our cottage.

**This Studio Suite is built to the highest standards! It is on the ground floor of a larger home and has it's own private outdoor access and driveway. NO shared indoor spaces. It shares outdoor common spaces with the house above. The upstairs of this house is exclusively reserved for the owners, serving as their private living space and not accessible to guests. Guest may occasionally witness dog on premises.

We absolutely loved the hot tub on the second story back porch. It faced the yard, not the canal. The place was cozy for two people but no more. There is an induction plate to cook on, so we brought our non-stick induction pan to make life easy. We loved hanging in the hammock in the porch area. We also enjoyed setting on the bench overlooking the canal. Take the exit by the fire station to find the place easily. The flashing tower is a great landmark close to the accommodation. We saw horses, deer, seals, and squirrels while we were there. Nice place and nice people!

The place was quite & cozy and the hot tub was amazing. There were games & books. They really thought if everything. I wish the toaster oven & grill was cleaned prior to our arrival. Pleaae make sure u have a true 4x4 Vehicle and arrive in the daytime...no real roads just or traditional signs just sand dunes everywhere.But I enjoyed being slightly off the grid for a weekend.

Very Nice! Small but it has everything you need! The hot tub was pleasant to use. The kitchen had a gadget for any meal you chose to make. They had a refrigerator freezer, griddle, single cooktop, air fryer, crock pot, toaster oven, toaster, coffee pot, K-cup coffee brewer, and outside they had a gas grill. We ate there outside under the covered porch every night. There is a full size washer and dryer to use too. A 1/4 mile to the 4x4 beach. Plenty of wild horses and deer to see. Lots of fun driving on the beach! Host was pleasant and friendly and wanted to make sure you had all you needed! Place was very clean!

Check-in was easy and efficient! Wifi and connection was flawless! We were blessed to have a ride in and out from the owner (also the tow company). Great guy! The place was clean, quiet, cool, cute and cozy! An oasis I didn't expect! We had a parking place for our off shore vehicle. We made the accommodations for cooking work. Lots of horse sightings in the area, and very close to the beach. We enjoyed every adventure, quiet evening and thoughtful detail.

The suite was immaculate and comfortable, and perfect to accommodate a small party on a getaway to OBX! Our hosts were AMAZING. Our Jeep broke down and we were so thankful that our hosts also happen to own a towing and recovery business serving the Corolla area. They towed us, taxied us, and repaired our Jeep in less than 24 hours. We are so happy we found this place and that we got to meet our wonderful hosts. Awesome people!

What a cozy, rustic and charming place for a romantic getaway in one of the most untouched pristine beaches on the east coast. The hosts were very attentive to prepare you for your trip. You had the canal and kayaks ready for touring. I loved the decour and there were plenty of snacks in your care package. When you are going make sure you rent a real 4X4. This is all natural beach access. Your city suv will get stuck. There are plenty of jeep rental places available. Enjoy the adventure!

We had a wonderful anniversary trip for two at this condo. The owners were very responsive and helpful when we needed something, but gave us our space. The outdoor area could have been cleaned up a bit better, there were some personal and trash items laying out on the porch when we arrived and the grill needed cleaning before we could use it, but the inside was beautiful. So many thoughtful, intentional things in the kitchen for our use. The bed was very comfortable. The space was perfect for just the two of us. We really enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the water, and love seeing the wild horses while we kayaked! That was so special!
