Check in was very easy since I did it online. Only drawback was I thought I was paying for early check in but it was only putting me on a list. So my family and I showed up for 1:00 but we were told they couldn’t guarantee that we would get in by 1:00. So we waited by the pool and on the deck which wasn’t bad because the weather was nice. We ended up not getting in our room until after 3:00. Otherwise the people at the desk were extremely nice and the accommodations were comfortable. Only other suggestion would be for the price that we paid for this room, breakfast should be included.

Friendly staff. Provided fresh towels and emptied our trash daily without being asked. Cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. Coffee available every morning. Beautiful ocean view from the 3rd floor and convenient walk to the beach. Plenty of dining within walking distance and inside the hotel.

Arrived at this hotel and was checked in. - The room smelled of urine, carpet and floor were so dirty that I when going into the bathroom accidentally stepped on white mat by shower leaving dark print of the bottom of my flip flops. - wiped the bathroom counter with paper towel only to pick up facial makeup along with several strands of hair. - ceiling above shower had mold - plastic knob on shower faucet showed dark dirt I do not recommend this place to anyone

Overall our stay was pleasant and the hotel met our needs. The room was a nice size and the beds were very comfortable. The A/C worked great - which is crucial in July. I rated lower on cleanliness, as our room had sticky stuff on the floor just inside the door in front of the bathroom, near the coffee maker/fridge. Also, there was an open half-full can of Modelo on the floor between the bed and the chair, and it seems some of it may has spilled as this area was also sticky. The afternoon we were in our room for a couple of hours, the cleaning crew seemed to be having a party in the hallway. I'm all for co-workers enjoying their jobs and each other's company, but this was a bit much. I heard music and they were speaking very loudly - it sounded like yelling down the hallway. This was discourteous to the guests and unprofessional. I'm just glad I wasn't trying to take a nap!

Disappointed in both the cost, then the nasty room

First of all, I booked thru hotels.com and paid over $500 for ONE NIGHT! Needing a second room, my husband went online directly to the Ramada website and the room rate was only $257. I called hotels.com and tried to get the price matched. Was told the only way to get lower rate was to cancel the reservation and rebook. Well, it was 48 hours before our trip, so if canceled, there was NO refund. Hotels.com rep contacted Ramada, asking them to waive the no refund policy. Ramada stated they have a “very strict cancellation policy, no exceptions”. Upon arrival at the hotel, explained our concern regarding the room rate. Understanding they could not price match, I asked for a second room as a comp, (at no charge), since I had grossly overpaid for the first. Ramada would do nothing to assist with the situation. Not having any other option, we attempted to book another room. Rate at the front desk was over $300. My husband explained the online rate was $257. Desk clerk suggested we book online. So sitting in the lobby, booked a second room online for a lower price. Much to our disappointment, the room was “grimy”. Bed lumpy, the bathroom rusty (the door frame was rusty). The balcony had 3 inches of standing water. We had stayed at this hotel 30 years ago. Unfortunately, I don’t think anything has changed. Desperately needs some upgrades. To top off an unfavorable check-in, we went to the hotel restaurant, only to find it was CLOSED, due to an “unexpected situation”. Never again!

Normal resort hotel with few amenities included in stay, many are offered but you will pay extra. Breakfast buffet was subpar and cost extra. Beach access is outstanding!! Staff is friendly , place is clean. Surrounded by rental housing but beach is the appeal here.

We called ahead to make sure they knew that we were bringing our dog, but they didn’t have a room for us and sent us away. The good thing is that they did refund all of our money.
