Ocean Crush is one of the Newest Oceanfront Homes on the Carova four wheel drive Beach! There are 2 houses, a main house (elevator included) with 4 master bedrooms and a guest house with 2 bedrooms, full kitchen and living room. The guest house connects via breeze way to main house for easy access. On the main picture of the house the guest house is to the left. This awesome beach house has been built to maximize your enjoyment and comfort. Nothing has been spared to create a perfect place for your vacation. The owners have been renting in Corolla for 20 years and drove to the 4 wheel drive beach every day for tranquility and to see the wild horses. This house has been built with everything they wanted when they rented. Amenities include eight 4k Smart TV's, four refrigerators, one commercial ice machine and a margarita maker. Can't go to the beach without lots of ice and a few Happy Hours!! Complete with a custom fish cleaning station so everyone can eat the fresh Catch of the Day. Wait till you see the 70inch 4k Smart TV and hear the surround sound system! If you like to cook and spend a lot of time in the kitchen, the custom kitchen allows you to prepare those great summer meals to share with the entire family. With that in mind, the kitchen overlooks the ocean so it won't be a chore. The ocean sun rises & sun sets from the bedrooms are amazing. The kids will love the pool table, hot tub and the salt water pool. The pool deck sports a Tiki Bar and 47' outdoor 4k Smart TV. There is even a safe to store your valuables while you go to the beach! You will notice this house is unique and will provide a comfortable week getaway with your family.

Main House has 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths.
Guest House has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath.

**Please Note: Home is UNABLE to be rented for Senior week. No pets or smoking allowed in the home. Also, I highly recommend that you have a four wheel drive vehicle to drive on the sandy beach in order to get to the home.**

Everything this about this house and the location is awesome! You arrive there after nice long drive on the beach and a little fun in the dunes in the Corolla 4x4 area with plenty of wild horses to see along the way. The house has everything you need from cooking utensils to beach toys. The pool area is wonderful and the kitchen in the main house is a dream. The top deck is also the perfect spot to have your morning coffee and watch the ocean. If you considering this property BOOK IT! You won't regret it.

Fabulous Family Vacation 2025

This was our first time on the 4X4 Beach and we are in love with the area. We found this house by a drive by the year prior. We read the reviews and booked the house. To be honest we were a little nervous as we have never used VRBO before. We could not have been happier with the host as she answered our questions quickly and politely. She was accommodating and understanding to our needs. The house was the cleanest we have ever experienced as we have been vacationing in OBX for 25 years. In regard to amenities and items in the home for your use there is nothing your could ask for, the home is completely stocked and well thought out by the owners. We are booked and looking forward to coming back in 2026.

We’ve just returned from a week at this fabulous property. This house is on the four-wheel-drive only beach at Corolla, so understand that you have to drive almost 8 miles on sand to get to the property. Once there, it is completely set up for a wonderful vacation. The house was well appointed, communication with the property manager was almost instantaneous, the views were to die for, and we had wild horses walk by the property regularly. We would absolutely return!

Beautiful house, great beach!

Ocean Crush was a beautiful and relaxing get away. The house was gorgeous and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of silverware, pots, pans ect. The house also has multiple refrigerators, dishwashers, and a commercial ice maker which was so convenient since the closest grocery store is 30 minutes away. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. The home is located about 8 miles off of the paved road and the beach drive is an experience. The drive requires a high clearance 4x4 and we did see people get stuck in the sand without the right vehicle. The house is located within walking distance to the beach and the pool and tiki bar area was an amazing place to hang out as well. We did get to see multiple wild horses on the beach, grazing in the yard, and occasionally walking under the house! No need to go on a wild horse tour- they come to you! Overall a beautiful house and great beach location.

Second year here!

We spent our second summer here and the house has everything you could need. The guest house was perfect for part of our family with small kids to stay in. The commercial ice machine came in so handy to fill up our coolers. The beach is such a short walk up and the beaches are not crowded. We had a great week!

Fabulous 60th!

We stayed with 12 adults. The house was beautiful, allowed privacy and also great space for everyone to be together! The pool area was perfect for relaxing and playing games. The deck with its high chairs allowed for perfect dolphin viewing and listening to the waves! The bedroom space was adequate, although the casitas second bedroom is really only for one and you have access out only through the shared bath. The spacious kitchen was perfect for preparing all our meals and the margarita machine was well used! We hope to return again!

Beautiful home with all the amenities you can think of! The guest house is a bonus that worked perfectly for the couple that were early risers. Huge dining table that accommodated all 8 of us easily. The pool is very nice, as well as the tiki bar for hanging out after the beach or in the evening! Lots of pool toys, easy up,, chairs. The ice machine is also a bonus! And of course the wild horses! They were right outside the house most days! Weather was perfect! A bit of a rough ride down the beach when you aren't used to driving in the sand. Airing down tires is a must! Cara, the property manager, responded to any needs we had right away. We have no complaints and would definitely return!

Beautiful ocean front house!

So much to say about this beautiful property! We were looking for a great place for our whole family on the beach. House is so comfortable and inviting. Well stocked kitchen with everything you’ll need to prepare your meals. Beds are SO comfortable. The pool, hot tub and tiki bar was a plus. We all spent lots of time just sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean watching the sunrise, strawberry moon on our last night, the horses and dolphins. We did have an issue with the microwave not working and loss of hot water in the main house on day two HOWEVER our host was on it immediately having a technician come out and replaced the microwave and fixed the hot water issue. RECOMMENDATION - The sand is a little tricky to drive on so a 4WD vehicle is a must. Try to bring everything that you will need for the week unless you don’t mind the drive. You won’t want to leave once you get there!! Great time!!

Horses and Dolphins Galore!

We loved our stay -we saw horses and dolphins every day. Very cool. The house was very nice and well appointed. The pool was nice, beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the location was amazing.

Fun Family Vacation!

We visited Ocean Crush with our 3 adult children, their spouses and 2 young (1 y/o) children! This house was perfect! There was plenty of room for all of us (and a quite place for us/the grandparents in the guest house)! We all love to cook and the kitchen was VERY well stocked! If they don't have it, it probably doesn't exist! The pool was an added bonus, giving us another place to hang out with the kids, other than the beach. Although there are plenty of beach items at the house, I would suggest bringing your own chairs and umbrellas/shades, if you can. Overall, a great space and great location! We saw horses almost every day/night!

We Love Your Home!

So many great things to say about our Ocean Crush, Corolla visit! The beach - this was our first time visiting the 4wd beaches and we absolutely loved it! We saw so many horses during our stay! The house - this house is absolutely amazing! It is perfect in so many ways and was a perfect fit for my family. The guest house was great for my daughter and her family and gave them a little privacy. Our other children stayed on the second level with their friends and my husband and I stayed on the 3rd/Main level of the home. The home was very clean when we arrived. It is equipped with everything you will need for your stay! The view from the home is absolutely breathtaking. The pool/Tiki bar is a great gathering area after dinner and after a long day at the beach. Many, many thanks for a vacation full of memories! We hated to leave! We are hoping to come back next year!

Was wonderful. Just a few suggestions: Would be nice to have a crib and high chair. Please fix the ice machines or get rid of them. Ice machine in the garage area has plenty of ice for the whole house. Please explain how far you have to drive on the beach to get to the house in the listing. We were very surprised how far it was. The sand is deep in spots. The kitchen was great, stocked very well. The beds were very comfortable. We all slept great. The house was super clean, kudos to the cleaning crew. View was to die for! Thanks for having beach chairs and beach umbrellas for our use. We would definitely like to come back for a longer period of time. The house was well appointed. Thanks for the memories.😀

OBX Beach House

Our first visit to the OBX and Ocean Crush made us believers! This property is exceptional. We had a smaller group , all adults, and the space over delivered. Amazing views of sunrise and sunset; the beach right at your feet. Wild horses came to the house and was the hit of the week. We used the pool and tiki hut every day. Inside the house was spacious, full of amenities , beautifully decorated and comfy. We cooked all of our meals in the well appointed kitchen and sat in the screened porch playing cards and enjoying the view. Hot tub was a nice bonus too. If you are a party of adults, or a couple of families , you will absolutely fall in love with this place. The guest room with the elevator is perfect for those challenged with steps or just for unloading groceries. You will not be disappointed with this stay - Enjoy!

This home was just simply amazing! The owners have truly thought of everything that is needed and more! The home itself was more beautiful and comfortable than we had hoped and extremely well stocked. Anything and everything we needed was available to us - beach and pool toys, kitchen utensils, serving platters, margarita machine, ice machines, 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers and more! The guest house was great for older family members to enjoy private space but still kept us in close proximity and the main house was perfectly suited for multi-family sharing. The view is unreal and proximity to the beach was perfect! The wild horses made several visits to the house throughout the week and we also saw dolphins daily! Cara was amazing to work with, always responding quickly to all of our questions and checking in on us throughout the week. We will definitely be back in the future!

Great Vibe!

What an amazing home and location! Watching the wild horses was, well, wild! The home was perfect for our family. We have five kids (ages 10-17) and had a set of grandparents too. The guest house was a perfect private getaway for us! We loved the layout of the grounds. The view from the hot tub and both floors is like something out of a TV show. We’ve been renting homes in OBX for over 30 years and we’ve never stayed in one this clean and WELL FURNISHED! They had everything you need for a pleasant stay! Good quality and plenty of supplies for the kitchen, the pool and the beach.
