From the drive up the long , tree lined drive to the checkout the next morning all was delightful. Room large with a view of a tranquil horse paddock, great shower and comfortable bed. Food delicious. Shout out to Marcella , Martina and Poliana for their help in finding a local laundry and just general information about the house and area. Such a friendly and welcoming group of ladies.
My family had the pleasure of holding my daughters wedding reception here over a 3 day weekend. From the planning right up to the time we left everything was fantastic.Paul,Marcella and Liz ensured everything went smoothly and stress free. For anybody looking at wedding venues or a place to hold a party, christening or a special family occasion I cannot praise them enough. The food was exceptional and the staff were friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for us.
We attended a friend's wedding at the Springfort Hall and it was brilliant. The food was amazing and the staff were fantastic. Not only the staff working within the wedding reception but all staff we met throughout the hotel were so nice, friendly and ready to help with anything.
Upgrade interior. customer awareness at front desk.. very overpriced for service given.. and envoirnment. Money needs to be spent in this hotel .. Loved the idea of country manor hotel and felt cheated after looking at website.... Great position but just nothing entertaining in the hotel.. staff were not too bothered either... sorry
We were there for my sister's wedding and the service and staff made it a memorable occasion. They were very friendly and helpful in every way possible. We couldn't recommend it enough especially for a wedding.
This Hotel was the base for four nights on a touring holiday of Southern Ireland. The hotel is showing it's age but was spotlessly clean and had comfortable beds, but what really made our stay there was the staff who could not do enough for you and smiles all round. There are two floors in this hotel but no lift so make sure you ask for a ground floor room if you have a mobility problem, but the staff will carry your luggage to the uppper floor for you. While we were there we were entertained by a ce'ili' band made up of local kids aged between 14 and 16 years, what a pleasure to here these pleasant mannerable kids playing their traditional music. If I could fault this hotel it would be the lack of walk in showers, apparently there is only one room that has this facility(correct me Paul, the manager, if I am wrong) but there is showers above the bath but our room had a "fixed head" shower. Would I stay thre again---yes without a doubt !!!
It is an old style hotel and we enjoyed the lounge with its fire and comfortable arm chairs. The bedroom was spacious and the beds comfortable. The food and service were good. The downside was that they are a bit ambitious with their prices.
We have stopped here on a few occasions for lunch when passing. Food is always good. Today we had the French onion soup and the chicken and bacon salad starter, both were great. The coffee is really good. Staff are friendly and the house itself is lovely. I always enjoy eating here.
Dropped back in here a few weeks back as I had to meet a colleague. The venue is quite a beautiful place and location. But the pricing and food leaves some gaps, service has improved but the food ok but at pricing above its levels. Might be that I'm tough from a previous experience but once bitten and all that. Coffee was good though. And the venue is beautiful.
Had the most relaxing stay last weekend for my fathers retirement. From the warm greeting with Paul at the front door to the wonderful Marcella who went out of her way to make sure my whole family young and older had a fantastic stay. Food was delicious and plentiful . Horses , pigs and country side all made this one special place. Could not recommend highly enough.
