We have loved every minute at the Ariti from check in right throughout. Majority of staff speak several languages due to the diverse nationalities who visit. Reception in particular Alexandra was very helpful and informative of activities and facilities and very welcoming on arrival. Pool bar is EXCELLENT with a special mention to Mike, Aggeliki, Danai and Seamus who attended to our every need. They bend over backwards to make your stay special, no request is to big and they mix a mean cocktail!!Will certainly miss these guy's. A good range of tasty food on offer and activities throughout the week. Restaurant (buffet) serves a wide range of breakfast including cereals, breads, meats, cheeses, fruit, salads or cooked breakfast if you prefer. Again for dinner there is a lot of choice including Greek dishes. Bedroom is cleaned daily with fresh towels and toiletries as expected. Nice touch to see my nighty presented artfully on the bed each day! Aircon is not the best but it was sufficient and the bed was too form for me. Lovely to arrive to a bottle of wine and water. Has all the amenities as expected of a 4* hotel. We loved sitting on our private balcony overlooking the pool last thing at night. Hotel bar is well stocked with a variety of drinks and has regular entertainment. Greek folklore evening was fantastic and again Aggeliki and Seamus attended our every need. The pool is a good size with sun loungers, shaded areas and a children's paddling pool. This area is closed at 8pm for pool cleaning, water treatment and washed down daily. I also indulged in several pamper sessions with the onsite Beauticians. Anna and her team were amazing offering a wide range of treatments, definitely worth a visit during your stay. We often saw a maintenance man tending to his duties. All the staff have been amazing and to be honest they are what make the hotel.
We stayed at this hotel for a week in September 2017. The rooms were comfortable and the food (we were on half board basis) for the evening meal were good and ample. The hotel is on the main bus route (2 / 2A) with a bus stop right opposite the hotel. The bus was a circular one to Corfu town. Tickets for the bus (also available at the hotel reception) cost €1.20 from the hotel or €1.70 from the driver. You may also purchase a day ticket from the driver for €5.00 The hotel provided entertainment on Friday with local dancers and a disco on Thursday. The one complaint I have is that the hotel uses firewood, probably for water heating, and if your room faces the street (front of the hotel - as our did) it is impossible to leave a window open because the smell of burning wood will enter the room. This was not all the time but was quite annoying. However the rooms themselves are comfortable and equipped with air-conditioning so as long as the windows are kept closed this problem is minim.
Great location. Nice room - except for an unexpected visit of some... ants, pleasant outdoor pool, rich, diverse and quite selected meals. One inconvenient, you have to pay for all drinks - including water, at dinner. If you get a room with a pool view, you can also watch the arrivals and departures from the local small airport, partially an amazing free show, though, at times, the noise might be enough... Just across the hotel there is a bus stop - the bus comes at every 20 minutes and takes you to the old centre in other 20 minutes, for less than 2 euro. You reach the beach easily, also crossing the street and getting down from another hotel, a 5 stars one. The centre is great, it really has the old Italian scent and heritage which used to resist here for 4 centuries. Do not miss the Greek more recent traces and mainly Sissi”s Palace, Achillion.
My wife and I had our first holiday without our children at the Ariti and we wanted a nice, relaxing week. It didn't disappoint us at all. Very clean, with helpful and friendly staff that were particularly helpful at the bar! Great, relaxing "walk-in" swimming pool and we always managed to get sunbeds, very close to some great bars and restaurants in Kanoni and it is only a short bus ride to Corfu Town. The food was good even though we chose to eat out most nights. Rooms were advertised as being basic but they were a lot better than expected with good amenities, the whole hotel is spotlessly clean..Recommended!
So let's get the slightly negative out of the way the hotel is situated very close to the airport which is very convenient so if your after peace and quiet this may not suit you . However the Hotel is spotless from the marble entrance to the restaurant and rooms.the owners have made a real effort to make you feel warm and welcomed Staff are very helpful and friendly and we were pleasantly surprised. Bus route into Corfu Town across road east to hop on tickets from local shop two doors up If you look for negatives you'll always find some but we had a relaxed time everything ran smoothly food as in all European locations was good but not naturally what we would have as first choice but made sure kids had options available every night to ensure they are. Shop 2 doors up very good open 08.00 to Midnight run by family and very reasonable prices Location wise a 3 -5 min walk from hotel you're in the Kanoni Corner full of restaurants and bars and cafes with the best view you'll ever find of planes coming into land around 500m away over the harbour wall. Beautiful Former Monastery with a small island accessed by a 3 min boat ride Picturesque quaint and lovely we will be back. Thank you Arti Grand we will be recommending you to friends 😀
Stayed here for 3 nights with our topdeck tour. We loved our stay here! Very clean and big rooms with lovely balcony area. Location is a bit far from town but you can catch the bus from the stop which is right aside and pretty cheap. Food is well priced and really nice! Happy hour between 5-7pm they have $5 cocktails and the friendliest bar staff!! Really nice pool. Make sure you get a massage they are really good and reasonably priced for a hotel!!
Booked this room just for a day coming back from Paxos because our flight was at 11:20pm. We enjoyed the pool and the room was comfortable. Good food options nearby which we enjoyed lunch at. A thing about this hotel - the planes The hotel is located probably as close as you can get to the one runway at Corfu airport, meaning that the noise of both inbound and outbound planes is very well heard, even inside your room. So if you hate planes, loud noise and want somewhere to relax in peace, that somewhere is not here. However, if you are a plane fanatic like me, this hotel has great views of the runway and the planes, especially on the terrace outside the lobby. Great spot to have a drink and take in some planes! Staff was very helpful
Stayed here a week with my mother and cousin. We arrived in the early hours and were greeted by Babis who was friendly and upbeat. Mine and my mothers room was great, very spacious, lovely balcony, nice bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. I noticed a lot of people have complained about the planes, however I could hardly hear them. I live close to my local airport at home and can hear them at night. The planes are not that loud, people just like to complain. The breakfast was very nice with different things each day to accompany the usual cereals and toasts etc. Plenty of room in the dining area. All the staff were lovely, very accommodating, arranged wheel chair for my disabled mother and a lovely birthday cake for my cousin. Surrounding areas nice for a walk, mouse island, boat trip and the palace etc. All in all a great stay.
Stayed the night and you could not be more welcome the staff are fantastic we had a late flight out of Corfu checkout at 12 they allowed us to store our luggage and use the facilities until it was ready to leave bus stop just outside the number 2 bus takes you into Corfu town 1.70€ each way
This is a spacious and traditional hotel, with a swimming pool ideal for small children, The bedrooms are a very good size and have air-conditioning - essential during the summer months. The restaurant offers an excellent and generous self-service breakfast, with something for everyone. For dinner, there is a delicious buffet, again offering many options with the possibility to go back for seconds (or thirds etc). The swimming pool has an open, but sheltered, bar and is an ideal place to escape the ravages of the midday sun. The staff at the hotel are absolutely tremendous. They were very helpful and pleasant. This was a general trait we found with all Corfiots. There is a bus service into Corfu, running every 20 minutes from just outside the hotel, which costs €1.70 each way, per person. I strongly advise taking the bus, as trying to find a parking space is a nightmare. The only major drawback to the hotel is its proximity to the international airport and the noise from flights landing/departing in the early hours of the morning. While I became accustomed to the noise, my wife didn't. The Grand Hotel Ariti On the peninsula at Kanoni Is a traditional hotel That cares for guests very well Well suited for the young family
