Wonderful Chalet!

Our stay at the chalet was the most peaceful and relaxing part of our trip. The place was spotless, the host (Alice) thought of every detail, the chalet was spotless, and we really enjoyed the outdoor firepit. The views from out back were amazing; although, a bit unfortunate that we were socked in with fog many of the days we were there.Would recommend this chalet if you are interested in visiting area towns, Acadia or just want to relax in a beautiful spot!

Our cohosts were friendly and responsive. We were greeted by a gorgeous Christmas tree and festive decorations throughout the property. The rooms were clean and comfortable; it was one of the best mattresses and pillow sets I've slept on. The property had extra towels, blankets, and an incredible array of kitchen supplies. We appreciated our hosts for placing ingredients for s'mores in our snack tray when we mentioned wanting to prepare s'mores. The firepit was already set with nearby logs and fuel. The view of the snow-lined trees and water was soothing. In the winter, it was an appreciably quiet and calm getaway.

The house is beautiful and immaculate. Pictures do not do it justice. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. We had an accident resulting in a minor injury while staying at the house and even though it was no fault of the owners the hosts were very responsive, kind, and helpful.

Home away from home

We had a family vacation with adult children and this was a perfect place to enjoy Acadia National Park as well as the surrounding area. It’s about an hour from Bar Harbor but the trade off is a peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable home with every amenity. Check-in and checkout were easy. We made some wonderful memories and would love to stay here again. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Our family enjoyed this property! Plenty of room for our family of 5. House was one of the cleanest ones we have rented and we have visited 46 states as a family, so that's saying something. Ample activities inside to keep families occupied on rainy days. The sun rises are great!! There was great communication leading up to our stay and had zero issues.

Peaceful Paradise

This was a Spring Break vacation for the kids. We wanted to see Acadia without the crowds. The chalet was perfect in every way. Beautiful decor and furnishings and everything was as advertised. And the added touches of comfort made our stay so enjoyable. We all enjoyed the game room, theatre and the incredible views. I would fully recommend a stay for anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway.

I have to say, out of all of the properties we have ever stayed in, this ranks among the very top. Such a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. The owners have literally thought of everything. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! We loved the peaceful waterfront location with spectacular views of the sunrise and the game room and movie theater were both a hit with everyone! Having the firepit (with smores included) and a gas grill on the deck allowed us more time to enjoy outside with our family. The hosts truly did not overlook any details in this home. You can tell the hosts have tried to think of everything you would need. We enjoyed all the amnesties- fire with s’mores down by the water, movie night, and a ping pong tournament. It’s a drive to Bar Harbor but given how crowded it was there we were happy to have a retreat in Corea. Highly recommend Lunch on the Wharf!

Medicine for your soul!

This place is amazing! First, the host is amazing. They’ve taken great care to make sure the property is well maintained and stocked with everything you need. They make it easy to communicate with them and provide a comprehensive booklet containing all the information you need for everything in the house and for the area. The photos in the ad are spot on. The location is tranquil and private but also conveniently located close to Acadia State Park attractions in both Winter Harbor and Bar Harbor (it’s closer to Winter Harbor). I highly recommend this spot. I certainly plan on returning! I mean, just look at the place!!!!!
