The property was beautiful, the upkeep on the historic building was amazing. The rooms were updated and the style was absolutely stunning. My dad had stayed here about 40 years ago and even back then was a very nice hotel, I believe this is one of the few thing that has only gotten better since that time.

A great hotel in a great location for exploring Copenhagen. We had two rooms (one spacious and one less so for our kids). The room is clean, the beds so comfortable and appointed with everything you might need (charging ports, iron, coffee, table desk, switches for housekeeping or do not disturb). Both rooms had a view of the water - note on that: you hear the restaurant below especially if window open and the DJ is there, but it closes at 10 pm. That said, they have nice restaurant and bar inside for late food and drink. Overall great stay.
The hotel staff was not particularly helpful in answering questions about local shops. The room cleaning service was hit or miss - neglecting to leave towels one day, neglecting to replace used glasses another day. Not the level of service I would expect from this type of hotel.
