The location is the only good part of this hotel. Some of the staff was a little rude and too busy with their own conversations to help us check-in, fix a problem, and check-out. The hallways and room smelled terrible and they tried to fix it with no avail. We kept the bathroom door closed for it to be manageable. Also, the shower is right where the toilet is and isn't walled off from the toilet so you are literally showering with it which grossed us out.

Hotel is very well located at City Center and at walking distance to many city highlights but yet in a quite street. Best breakfast buffet in town, do not miss it as food is very expensive in Copenhagen. No Air Conditioned but in May it was cool at night so it was very pleasant with the windows open. I would stay there again!

Nice stay. Good breakfast. Friendly front desk staff.

The Ascot hotel is in an excellent location, easy to walk to the main train central station and metro station is close by. We had a queen bed plus sleeper sofa which gave us enough room for 3. There was a nice little balcony by our hotel room which was nice. We had a great time in Copenhagen.

Well located, attractive hotel. Easy walk from central train station. As others have said, beds are narrow with thin mattresses but we slept ok. Lovely, large very busy breakfast room with decent breakfast overall though scrambled eggs were often marginal. Desk staff very helpful: when personal item accidentally fell behind radiator, desk staff and engineer responded immediately and retrieved it.

The Ascot has a nice lobby, but you may be staying in another building a few doors down. Outside again with luggage, down the street, up the stairs again with luggage. You'll have to do the reverse trip to find the reception or breakfast. Our room faced away from the street but was still noisy. Want to leave your luggage for a bit after you check out? More steps.

The room is very small, no sefe box, no refrigerator, no miny bar in the room. Gym is OK, good to marinate fitness. Also, no air conditioner. Kept open windows, but in the morning a lot of noice

Pefect if you are into night lfe but terrible if you want to sleep. You can hear the hotel staff working, the crowd at Tivoli screaming from the rides... The water from the shower is also very weak.

Good location , the Hotel is not good, they don't change the bedding or the towels. Rooms our very small, very worm , has on air conditioning . We had to ask for a fan. The break is not good for the price. Would not recommend to any one.

It was really centrally located for my work and vacation time. Easy from airport. Clean, Staff was good got upgraded to a bigger room. No problems they were very helpful with any info and so forth.

Nice clean hotel at great location. Walking distance to train station, Tivoli and downtown shopping. Free Wi-Fi is a good plus, but sometimes the signal is weak in the room.

The Ascot Hotel has a fine location and a very affordable price for a city like Copenhagen. Many great attractions such as Tivoli Gardens, City Hall and the harbor area are an easy walk The rooms are spacious and well appointed, and the staff is very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff was courteous and very helpful. The hotel was clean and located next door to Tivoli Gardens. On the downside, you have to carry heavy luggage up one flight of stairs before riding the elevator. We found this very inconvenient.

The hotel is located right in the heart of downtown, easy walking distance to Tivoli, the main train station and the downtown shopping street. However, being downtown in a hotel with no A/C in the summer (no A/C is very common in European hotels), the windows will be open at night and in the downtown area, that means lots of noise (drunks, breaking glass, loud music.) The room was clean and nice, the bathroom had a nice shower and was clean, and the hotel breakfast was delicious, plentiful, and had great variety. I'd definitely stay there again (but bring some earplugs.)

For a 4star hotel the bed was horrible, it was so soft (the body was sinking in the bed, not good for anybody especially not for sleepers on the belly) plus the pillow was so hard and round like a ball that you cannot sleep and relax at all, pollow was inflated by artificial fabrics. When we asked if it's possible to bring us a softer pollow, the answer was: "...sorry, it's not possible". Breakfast was ok, bot far from brilliant or great. Quality was good but all self serviced in a big hall, felling like in a train station plus quing on the soluble coffee automat. So price value proposition can be massivle improved.

Within an easy walk from the Copenhagen Central Train Station, the Hotel Ascot is a good deal. I was traveling with my two adult daughters. The hotel lobby is very attractive, but room we had was spare - little furniture or decorations or charm. However, it was extremely comfortable. Bedding for two in one room, for one in the other, plus a long shelf-like desk, made the room work well. And while our room faced the street, it was very quiet at night. The large Danish breakfast, with lots of choices, was another major asset. We would recommend it; it was very convenient and comfortable, but visitors should be warned that the rooms themselves are rather ordinary, less charming than you might want in a country where so much is beautiful.

I went to a conference at the Copenhagen Business School. From the hotel I was able to walk for 10 minutes to the metro station and from there take a direct train to CBS which is only four stops away. The central train station is even closer (5 minute walk). The hotel is very centrally located. It is a 10 minute walk from the main pedestrian shopping street. Although the room was small (it was a small single room), it was clean and comfortable with free wifi, a small fridge, and a sink. Breakfast was included in the (very reasonable) price and it was a wonderful buffet with freshly cut and appetizing fruit (every day different), a variety of wonderful breads, cheeses, cold meats, salmon, etc. It is a short taxi ride from the airport (15-20 minutes) and one can also use the metro to and from the airport. The staff was helpful and courteous, and everyone spoke English. I will consider staying at the Ascot hotel in future visits to Copenhagen.

due to flooding there was no hot water for 2 days, very uncomfortable for travelers we used cold water to shower, no complimentary given to the guests at all. bathroom is very old needs renovations, however, their staffs are helpful. great location walking distance to everything, the plaza, restaurants, shopping areas, et al.

Fast Checkin. FREE wireless internet. Clean Linnen. Small room. Uncomfortable bed. Flat screen TV on wall. Secure place. ELevator. Resturant. Very close to train station and resturants and Tivoli and movies and shopping. Great Location. Nice hotel staff. Price was right.

good location, but it is not really a 4 star. So tired of the very small beds, even in a double,
