The entire staff were extremely polite, accommodating and efficient in each and every request. Never too busy to answer questions. Made for an extremely pleasant stay.

We stayed in Copenhagen for 2 days following a cruise and wanted to see as many of the sites as we could. The Imperial staff were very accommodating when we arrived at 9 AM, well before the regular check-in time. As expected, they were happy to hold our luggage but also provided a private space where we could get organized to begin our sight seeing. The hotel is around the corner from a tourist information office and the beginning of the tour bus route. It is also a short walk to Tivoli Gardens, the Town Hall and some other interesting neighborhoods. The room was more than adequate and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The free Wi-Fi was appreciated and worked well. We didn't use any of the other hotel facilities.

The Imperail Hotel is a conference hotel, I would not recommend for pleasure travellers. Itis boring, some of the fruniture is somewhat worn, as are the carpets. Breakfast is expensive. In a charming city, the Imperial has no charm at all. It looked as if they were well greaed up for conferences, and it was functional for tourists, but not inviting or charming. This was our first stop on a two week trip .The Imperial Hotel was such a dissapoointment as a beginnig hotel. We came back to Copenhagen and stayed at the Admirial.that was great! We loved copenhagen much more from the Admiral. The location is good. it is walking distance to Tivoli and City Hall which is where walking tours begin.

Nice hotel centrally located in the City Center. It is only two blocks from Central Station. Rooms are a little small, but doable.

Very nice and well located hotel. It was perfect for my first time trip to Denmark. Friendly and VERY helpful staff, nice rooms and nice bathroom (small but cozy)

Great location, friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Walking distance to central station and many restaurants. Somewhat dated but clean.

Hotel staff is trained to upsell. Won't let people register until the 3:00 check-in, but for 300 KRR more will sell you a better room and let you in right now. 3 SMALL elevators. One was broken the 3 days we were there and I didn't see anyone working on it. Several group bus loads of tourists come every day and clog up system.

Hotel room was of modern design. I had a single bed with a very comfortable mattress, which also meant a small but cozy room. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful during my stay.

We stayed there twice. Centrally located (minute walk from the metro Gardens) nd 5 minutes walk from the central station and Tivoli ), small but clean and comfortable room. You can hire a bike directly from the hotel or across the street (gobike).

We stayed at the Imperial for only one night when we first got to Copenhagen. Was a nice room. Left to go travel for the weekend. Returned on Sunday night for a weeks stay. Great room on the 4th floor. It was hot by Copenhagen's standard so the advertised air conditioning worked great. Breakfast was delicious each morning and was a steal when booked with the reservations. Bathtub was large which was an added bonus. Left for the weekend again and returned the following Sunday. Got another room on the 4th floor, but was right across from the train tracks so was very noisy. Had to have the window open as the air conditioning was not working. Called the front desk to ask about it since the room we had the previous week stayed so cool. Was told in a very rude manner that it was not air conditioning but air chilling. Whatever it was called was not cooling the air at all. Had the manager come and look at it but he could not do anything. He said the hotel was completely booked, but when he went back downstairs guess a room opened up. He called and asked us if we wanted to move. We did and it was cooler. So the next few nights were good. The overall experience was good, except the rude front desk lady when I called. All other people that worked there were very nice and they even kept one of our bags for us while we traveled outside of Copenhagen for the weekend. I would stay in this hotel again.

The front desk staff were excellent. The location is very near Tivoli Gardens and the train station. The main museums, Palace, and shopping areas were a very comfortable walk. Unfortunately, the Danish Design Museum which was listed as being open on Saturday was in fact not open.

Would be great if it had a renovation. Otherwise, average hotel. A bit overpriced, but that's Copenhagen.

The hotel staff was very nice. Short distance from the train station, very convenient.

Great location, across the street from the train station and easy walking to all of the center of town. At check-in they offered an upgrade to our reservation which included a bigger room, breakfast and a patio. The room was very nice - heated bathroom tile floor. The hotel also offered bike rentals on site - very reasonable price and a great way to see the city. Miles of pedestrian streets to explore and the canal tour was great fun as well!

Very comfortable bed although the room was quite small. Wireless internet was adequate, business centre was easily accessible. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. 'Hot' breakfast was only barely warm, but there was a wide selection of good options. We would stay there again.

What I liked the most about the room was the wooden floor. It's so rare that you don't have to worry about the cleanness of the carpet in the room. You can walk with even barefoot. It looked brand new and clean. The hotel is close to the central station and also just in front of S-tog station. That was very convenient. Stuffs were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. It was actually very nice hotel over all, but if I have a chance to visit Copenhagen again, I will look for a cheaper hotel.

Staff was very helpful. Our luggage arrived two days late and they helped us in our immediate needs and oriented us in our shopping needs the day before our cruise departure. That night the bags arrived and we were able to continue a normal vacation! Excellent breakfasts and restaurant service in the hotel!

Perfect for us as we were transitting from the airport to cruise ship. Very close to the central train station which is three stations from the airport and the cruise ship port. We spent a day in the city and is very central for all the sight-seeing. Also generally clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

We were pleased with the attitude of the staff - very helpful. Enjoyed everything about the breakfast. except for the watery orange juice, Location was very convenient for airport, train and Tivoli access. The hotel itself was very clean - the area immediately outside needed some TLC.

Hotel used a variation on the classic bait and switch routine. We arrived several hours before posted check in time after a cruise. Would they check our bags? No! Is our room cleaned? Yes? Can we check in? Not for several hours! However, for $60. US we can upgrade and check in now! A bottle of champagne was promised with the upgrade, but it never was delivered. Would they subtract the cost from the final bill? No! The bed was soft and poor. Danes were friendly and helpful. This hotel needs to have staff act like Danes.
