The toilets did not flush and the sink did not drain properly There was no place to keep our clothes and no cabinet space
great location. comfortable room, good breakfast, helpful staff
I like their green approach and the incentive they offer the guests for turning down everyday room service. It was the first time I see such a thing and I applaud them for it.
Good hotel withinWalking distance to lots of Copenhagen attractions.
The hotel was just a couple blocks from the train station. Our “superior” room was nice but there were some maintenance issues (bathroom ceiling panel coming down and bathroom lighting didn’t always work properly), which were surprising given the cost of the room. We still enjoyed our stay, though.
Nice, clean and comfortable hotel close to the canals and central train station. At night the street was a little questionable. Lots of strip clubs and erotica shops. But in the daytime it was great!
We had a family room for myself, husband and 2 kids. It was a tight fit but overall worked well for us. The room was beautifully decorated and clean. The hotel location is great for the train (perfect to use to transfer to/from airport) but isn't idea to the city center. It's close to Trivoli though, which could be nice if you're traveling with kids. There's a sex shop across the street which was plainly visible from our first floor room ... that maybe wasn't ideal either but not that big of a deal. Staff was nice and helpful. Overall great stay!
Hotel is beautiful, in great condition and very clean. Lovely staff. Fantastic location. Only inconvenience is really bad WiFi.
Perfectly located to walk to most sights and places we wanted to visit, and otherwise very convenient to get to public transportation which takes you everywhere easily. Hotel staff was very helpful and rooms very comfortable and impeccably clean. In hallway by elevator on each floor is a table filled with bottles of water, chocolates, toffees and Danish cookies with a sign, "We're glad you're here", please enjoy these.... It feels incredibly welcoming. Always being charged for water or receiving one small bottle, these cute (and sealed) bottles saying "Just Water", just made you feel welcome. Lovely bathroom with abundant soaps, gels and lotions (which can also be purchased when you depart). A jewel of a little hotel!
Overall pretty good hotel. Good location and nicely furnished room. Bathroom was old and needs renovation. Breakfast was pretty crowded and food items get removed promptly at 10 am, followed by vacuum cleaners all around.
Nice stay. Glad I stayed here vs Nyhavn - was on the fence between both. But being so close to the train station, it was really easy to get to and from the Airport. To Nyhavn a walk of about 25-30 minutes, but was nice to walk along the pedestrian streets. Hotel was nice, clean, and just what you needed - was very comfortable. Staff seemed friendly at and ease. Checkout process very easy and baggage room to leave luggage for the day of before heading to the airport was extremely easy as well. Liked it and would recommend to a friend. Just not the pillows (too small!)
The main train station is basically a four-minute walk, super convenient for the airport. The hotel is very clean and I was pleasantly surprised with the size of my room (a junior suite), particularly for European standards. Walking from the hotel towards the opposite side of the train station the neighborhood is wonderful, with great restaurants packed with sophisticated, well dressed and beautifully mannered locals, a world apart from all the touristy non-sense that you find in the Tívoli area. Having said that, the immediate surrounding area can be seedy at night with loud drunks and women of questionable character, if you know what I mean, along with some sort of homeless shelter that leaves a lot to be desired.
Hotel itself is very comfortable with brightly styled rooms. I had the Superior Room on the top floor for a little extra space. Bathroom was spacious with a bathtub - highly unusual in Scandinavia in my experience. Close to Central Train Station and Tivoli - a must do experience for children of all ages at all ages. There are multiple good restaurant options within walking distance but not necessarily super close. However, Copenhagen is a walking and biking city. The only watch out is that the neighborhood includes gentlemen clubs and associated stores. There are also prostitutes nearby at night. That said, I never felt unsafe and was not bothered by anyone. It's part of the atmosphere of the former artist district.
This was a very nice hotel in a convenient location for those that like to be close to the train station. The area around the hotel is gentrifying quickly, but still has a little of the old Red Light district feel along Istedgade, which might scare away families (we felt safe). The hotel itself has recently been renovated and our room, upgraded (I think) because we told them we were traveling with a child was very large, clean, and had a nice bathroom. They put a crib in the room, which was a nice touch and very welcome. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good, although there wasn't much hot food. The bar was decorated in a modern style that I didn't love, but was a nice place to hang out, and many guests did throughout the day. If you want to see the standard tourists sites around Copenhagen, you might want to stay closer to the more northern train stations in the city, but we didn't have too much trouble getting around, even with a 1 year old. One potential caveat to staying here: While I don't like to comment on other cultures while traveling, I was shocked to see a Muslim husband and wife seemingly turned away from a room. I could have misinterpreted what I saw because of the language barrier, but it was upsetting to see nonetheless. Otherwise, we had a really nice stay.
Trendy & well kept hotel conveniently just steps from the Cental Station. Their bike rentals are very well priced & inlude a 3 hour guided tour of the city...one of the highlights of our stay in Denmark.
Very nice hotel, great value for the price. Very cordial hotel staff! Accommodating, will let you keep your luggage before and after your reservation in the event you get there early or are leaving late. This way you can walk around without luggage. For those traveling from the airport, this hotel is two stops away. You are 300 meters from Central Station. Add another 100m to Trivoli and walking distance to Stroget and Nyhavn. There are also several cafes nearby.
