Maldron Hotel Sandy Road Galway

nice and clean

nice hotel with everything you need. it is a bit of a walk to the city center, about 30 mins. never been there before, so it was easy to park at the hotel and then walk into town, then able to walk off dinner on the way back

Imperial Hotel

Nice hotel but

€5 Supplement for a full Irish breakfast ! Never encountered this in a hotel before in Ireland. A bit mean in my opinion . Nice hotel, good location , but no car park.

Ashford Castle

Perfect Staying

There's no words to describe the experience. It was the first place that I stayed that everyone was genuinely interested in make our stay the best possible. Sometimes you find great service but a lot the employees are doing just what they are payed for. At Ashford Castle I felt like everyone was going way beyond our expectations. The castle itself is in pristine conditions and the room was renovated 3 years ago, therefore is equipped with a lot of new technologies (heated floor, automatic blinder, etc). Can't say enough about this place. Highly recommended.

The Twelve Hotel

Quiet posh hotel

We enjoyed the 12. Great room with nice shower and products. Yummy breakfast! Barns is 5 mikes from Galway so you should not expect a quick walk to the city. Things that could be improved: coffee available early am/afternoon in lobby. We were in the family suite and the shower door is too short so water sprays outside
