Smooth sailing close to downtown.Breakfast which was included was very good. The rates were very reasonable.

Staff and breakfast meals were very pleasant. Room was clean but somewhat small, especially the bathroom. Its distance from the center of activity is easily walked (when it isn't raining) and the choice of restaurants, clothing stores and other merchandise should satisfy all visitors. One of the highlights was a walking tour led by Liam. Definitely an activity to consider.

Good location. Nice setting. Good breakfast buffet.

Walking distance to town, but no A/C and it was a little noisy from road traffic. Staff were very friendly. Not a bad place to stay if you get a good rate.

Great location to the train station, and city center with all the great restaurants and fun bars. The room was nice, and the complimentary breakfast was the nicest I've ever had.

Great hotel for St.Patricks Day, close to town center and great food and drink in hotel.

Overpriced and under delivered. Will not be returning. Broken bathroom facet handles, hair left in shower from previous guests. Highly unmemorable.

The staff here was very friendly and gave us some great recommendations for Galway. Parking was easy enough and pretty cheap (5 euro per day and right behind the building). The rooms were fine, pretty average and nothing much to complain about except for the fact that we found a hair on the towels (not a big deal but kind of gross). That stuff happens so we had to shrug it off. The fire alarm in our room did go off because of the steam from the shower (poor air circulation) which was annoying. Hallways were kind of crummy/dirty but that didn't really impact our stay.

This hotel has a good location, good atmosphere, and good people. The staff was friendly every time I needed something at the desk. The room wasn't huge but the bed was comfortable. It was one of the only double beds that wasn't just two twin beds put together. Only complaint about room comfort was there was no AC and the room was warm at night even with windows open. There is a parking garage behind the hotel that is a little tight but seculded and safe and there is entry directly to the hotel. 5 euro/night parking. At check in we were informed of the hotel resturant's 3 course 20 euro for 2 deal. It seemed like a great idea and we were excited to try it. However the menu was minimal and they were out of things they did not inform of us right away. Had I known this before ordering we would not have stayed. Location is a short walk (5min) to the main pedestrian area of Galway. It is easy access but not in the hustle bustle of everything which I liked.

After a transatlantic flight we arrived 6 hours before check in and were in bed within 20 minutes! The staff was more than accomodating and even loaned us 5 Euros for snacks because it was Sunday and no money changers were open. The car park was tight (and costs extra) and doubled as the scenic view from our room, switching from tub to shower was unfamiliar and the bathroom vent kept shutting off which made the whole room humid (windows only opened a tiny bit). Internet was intermittent and frustrating. The hotel was clean and inviting and we enjoyed the bar and restaurant. Location is very close to Quay street and shopping.

The location is ideal for the kind of tourism I like: mainly walking. It is about 2-3 minutes walk to the pedestrian zone, but not itself on top of pubs (so it's quiet). Nice simple modern interiors, with all the necessary luxuries in the rooms. Do not, however, expect a nice view from your room. Internet access, and even a computer with free internet access in the lobby, so you can leave your laptop at home (as I did). Every morning a buffet style Irish breakfast (for me it was included in the price, I don't know if it always is); after such a breakfast you do not need to eat lunch. I ended up only eating early dinner. So you save twice: no lunch, and early bird specials for dinner.

Staff was helpful & friendly. Walking distance to shopping/dining. No air conditioning, can be noisy if window faces busy street.
