Hampton Inn Spartanburg-North I-85

Awesome stay!

FIVE STARS for me!!!!! Hotel was clean. Room was clean and QUIET. I felt safe there the whole time. Arby's was in walking distance. Breakfast was included, but due to my early hours of work for the four days I was there, I was unable to try out the breakfast (it didn't start until 6am, and I have to be on the road at that time). Will stay there again.

Broad River Inn

Hidden Gem

Great little hideaway in a quaint little town. Fairly close to Ashville -- about 30-40 minute drive. The route that Google Maps took us there was on a crazy windy road, so unless you're on a motorcycle, you may not enjoy the drive. However there are some alternate routes available. Nice hiking around the area.

The 1927 Lake Lure Inn & Spa

Beautiful older hotel by the lake

Hard to give a fair review. We were placed in the annex, which reminded me of an old motor lodge. The tv was an old 19 inch tv mounted to the ceiling. On the plus side, the main hotel was absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful bar, restaurant, and pool. We thought the lobby was fabulous. The staff were polite and professional. The view was also beautiful. Complementary breakfast was scant, but acceptable. Highly recommend, but ask for a room in the main hotel, not the annex.
