WHAT A SINK HOLE!!! The room was filthy. Trash from previous guest was still there, mold on the shower curtain.. Room was stripped bare. Had called ahead to asked about room amenities & told it was stocked. Had 5 nite reservation to boot. Sheets were never changed & had to go to the office to get clean towels. Told to empty our own trash. Now, we know when you pay a low price for room you get what you pay for but at least clean the rooms & pick up the wash rags left outside on the ground. The place is a pig sty & customer service is barely passable. Hilton here we come!!!

I had a confirmation number and they could not find my reservation. I had a late arrival but called 4 hours ahead of time to tell inform them of my late arrival. Manager said OK and would tell the night clerk. When i got there the clerk called the owner and he said someone cancelled the room. I left and went to Hampton Inn. I need to check my CC and make sure I did not get charged. What a nightmare at midnight.

Overall clean and safe but they have transferred ownership and claimed my prepayment had not been made and attwmpted to collect again. No maid service and no breakfast as advertised

There is not enough space in the check-in area for large vehicles. It is a tight squeeze to get anything larger than a sedan through the security gate. We had no hot water. No sheets for the pull out couch. Telephone did not work. We called the front desk to ask if the hot water issue could be addressed. We were told that the maintenance person had left for the day and there was nobody who could be called to fix the problem. We were offered a room switch which we did not want to do since we were already settled in our room and it was late. The front desk worker then HUNG UP, yes hung up, on my husband. He called back. We could hear as the worker answered, put him on hold, took him off hold, over and over until she hung up on him AGAIN. There was one security guard type worker who was jovial, friendly, and very helpful when we checked in. He was the type of person who should work there. We will never recommend this location to anyone.

terrible hotel not close to airport 7 Miles away security present, would appear to be more of a hourly hotel prostitues/drugs etc couldnt stay, demanded refund and changed hotel to one actually at airport newer/Safer etc

We rented a "penthouse" suite that was beyond disgusting. The walls and interior doors were completely filthy with food and drink stains and also countless finger prints, the floor had crumbs everywhere including something that looked like pepperoni. The sheets on the upstairs bed had stains on them and the pullout couch didn't come with any sheets. When my husband called they said he would have to go to the office and pick up new sheets. The bathrooms smelled like urine. We got in late at night and had no choice but to stay the night. No compensation was given to us upon checking out. We will NEVER stay at Hawthorn again. They actually made my husband sign a contract saying we wouldn't party in the room. We're a family with 3 kids- give me a break!

Oh boy. These hotels could have really been nice BUT management really got lazy!! Where to start. Outside of property was dirty. Needed a groundskeeper to keep the place clean from trash on steps. When u get to ur room, at first glance. It's pretty decent. Then u really look and oh boy. Absolutely had no towels or soap. At all!!! When we called to get towels for 2 people for our 2 night stay, we were given only 2 body towels and 2 face towels and they were thin and rough! Live stink bugs, were everywhere, gross. Toilet seat was broken and on the floor and dirty. Tub had no stopper, no bath mat towel, and floor was wet cuz toilet leaked water. The towels we did get were gross cuz hair was stuck in them. Kitchen had no disgrace or dish soap. Ice maker in fridge didn't work. I DID like the little mini portable heater/fan. I paid $137 total for 2 nights. It wasn't worth that, but it wasn't all bad. It was still cozy. We made the best of it. Was a nice sized kitchen, came with some dishes and pans

No sign of maintenance at all. Run down and dirty. Front staff upbeat, but facility abysmal. At breakfast food almost absent and empty containers, but helper hung about and made a nuisance of herself by acting "helpful." She could have cleaned area and replenished food.

The first room we were in was ragged. The front door wouldnt shut or lock because the seal was gone and we could see outside. So we asked to move. The next room had no towels no blankets and there was dirty wash cloths hanging up in the shower. Dishes were dirty and there was still food in the refrigerator. I feel like there was no cleanliness at all.

In my room, the furniture was horrible, the bathroom ceiling was falling, the toilet rocked, there was a constant odor in the room. I was dark, not adequate cutlery, dishes, one chair for the so called table combo in the kitchen. Needs new carpet my experience was a total nightmare.

We arrived at 2:00 AM from out of state. Security guard driving around the property. Multiple buildings with limited ability to restrict access of non-guests and movements of guests. Several guests were wandering the parking areas after apparent late night festivities. Our family was so uncomfortable with the environment that we never checked into room, ate the 1 night cost, and drove another 5 miles to stay in a much more secure hotel environment.

The room was not up to my standards. Stayed because it was late when we arrived and we didn't want to look for something else.

We were extremely disappointed and even endangered by this property: Day one: 1. No front desk staff after 10 p.m. when site expressly states 24-hour front desk staff We arrived at hotel shortly before 10 p.m. and checked in. After going to our room we discovered we had no bedding or pillows for couch. We went back to front desk to discover all hotel employees we gone for the night and only the security guard remained. He was extremely pleasant and tried his best to help. He said he works 2 days a week and this happens every time. He was tryingto help with answering the phone, etc. but was not trained to do so. He managed to root around and find some sheets for us, but no pillows. 2. The room seemed cleanish, but was very very tattered and worn. 3. The pool, which our children were looking forward to, was so filthy it looked like a swamp. 4. The floors in the room were so weak some of the boards were moving and we were afraid to walk in certain areas. Day two: 1. When we returned to the hotel after a day out we stopped at the front desk to pick up some pillows. Once again there was only the security guard at the desk and the door to the hotel was even locked. He opened the door and said he would find us some pillows and cover even if he had to take them from an empty room and then he would bring them to us. 2. When we got to our room we discovered the maid had made up th

The room was clean enough I suppose. Mostof the tv channels did not work. The dishes in the kitchentte were dirty. The toilet water kept running the entire night. There were enough towels for one person. I stayed with my husband and two toddlers. The floor was warped. Water damage? There were very large dips in the flooring. You couldn't really walk without tripping. The mattress on the bed was stiffer than a board. The mattress on the fold out couch was basically non-existent.

We got there very late just to rest for a few hours, till our flight early in the next morning. I booked the room for 6 people, got a confirmation and all. When I got there, they didn't have a room for 6, so they gave us a room with a king size bed and a sofa bed. I had to sleep in the bed with my wife and our 2 daughters while my son shared the sofa bed with my mother in law, who is handicapped. On top of that, the room reeked of smoke even though it said it was a non-smoking room. There was only one towel in the restroom. The smell was so bad that we had to send our clothes to the drycleaners because it smelled. We only booked this hotel because we saw the name Wyndham and we trusted the brand but what a disappointment! Even though we only stayed for a few hours, it was the worst few hours ever and the worst hotel we've booked. I don't recommend this hotel.

Nice need. more dishes to cook with other than that it was clean and comfortable.

Very dirty. Toilet was broken. Half of the outlets in room didn't work. Bugs on night stand. Front door and bathroom door handel were broken . Overalll terrible place. Cheap for a reason. Should have spent extra 40$ and stayed in a nice downtown Columbus hotel. Very sketchy area/location also.

I would never, ever stay at this hotel. It is dirty. Dirty sheets. Dirty Bathroom. The room reeked. Our door did not lock properly. We pushed the dresser in front of the door. A drug deal was happening down the hall. It was very scary. Finally we left. Turned in the key and left. Found a better hotel on the west side of town. Don't go here. It's scary and dirty.
