The building was a little difficult to find at first, the building numbers were pretty small on the front door, but the check-in information provided by the host made it a smooth check-in. Once we were in the apartment it was different than I expected. The kitchen cabinets were falling off the wall and leaving saw dust residue everywhere, on the counter and on all the dishes inside the cabinets. The burners on the stove in the kitchen didn’t ignite and I had to use matches to light the stove. There were no outlets in the kitchen to plug-in the toaster so I had to take the toaster into the bedroom to use it. There were only two bath towels provided for a 4 day stay and the bath tub did not plug so we had to take a shower, however, the curtains in the shower weren’t waterproof and water pooled on the floor and we had to use one of our bath towels to soak it up, leaving only 1 bath towel for the remainder of the trip. The apartment is at a tilt which was different but the building is old so that is to be expected. The bed was great and I was very appreciative of the air conditioners in the windows! The Wi-Fi was spotty and it would go on and off periodically with a notification that too many people were using the Wi-Fi, which was pretty frustrating. All in all, the location of the apartment was great, loved being on High street where we could walk around, find restaurants, and shop, but the apartment needs some repair work and the Wi-Fi to be fixed.
