Come here monthly for my job. Kamal is a super nice desk host and will take care of you. Many rooms are newly updated. Beds, carpet, paint, sinks and fixtures..Etc. Right of of I-270 with many restaurants close by to choose from. Also Meijer and Walmart stores very close. If you're in town for a ball game or concert this is an inexpensive but quality choice. Don't let the reviews fool you.

I stayed here for one night only. The desk clerk was pleasant. My room is clean and the furniture current enough to make me feel like the hotel was up to date. You enter each room from the outside parking area so I guess technically it's a motel. They have two separate buildings so you might get a room in the second building. There is a fantastic Chinese buffet behind the hotel better than any I have ever been to. They have lots of sushi choices in addition to the regular Chinese buffet choices. There was a microwave and a fridge in my room, a clothes rack with hangers, adequate towels and a nice looking bathroom. As mentioned in the title the toilet is one of those small round toilets that they use to fit in tight spaces. This works well for children and small adults however anyone who is larger knows the challenges associated with these tiny porcelain bowls. The shower was clean, however the hot water was quite an experience. Apparently there is no proper mixing reservoir for the cold and the hot water. The hot and cold water would come out in microbursts instead of mixing well to make the proper temperature. I got out of there quickly as it was not comfortable for me. There are several nicer restaurants close to the motel if you want quality dining. In summary I would say that the choice to stay here depends on how picky you are how or how desperate you are and what the cost would be compared to other choices in the area.

Unexpected emergency stop and every hotel in the area was sold out. Knew something was up when this place had plenty of rooms left, but was it a sign of hope? Staff was friendly enough, but the AC in the room didn't work. Not appreciated on a warm June night. Sketchy area, sketchy clientele. Oh well, it worked in a pinch but not really. Didn't see any breakfast items out the next morning. Not sure what happened there. Yes, everything smells like smoke. The HOPE is to never return. Yuck!

It was a stop along the way. We picked it because it was the cheapest at that particular Interstate exit. A bed and not much breakfast. The guest room reeked of cigarette smoke, including the bathroom. A friendly enough staff, but that was about all the place had to offer.

I got there around check in time. It was so deserted I wasn't sure if they were even open. I drove around the parking lot. The curtains in the rooms were drooping off their hinges. I left. Took the $60 hit.

after spending Christmas in Cincinnati we were returning home & had to spend night in Columbus. this hotel is located kinda hidden after u take exit but it';s easy to locate. room was clean. towels were dirty & had stain on carpet under the sink other than that everything was good. the price is good too.

Due to needing a room for an overnight stay that was not expected, I decided to save a few bucks and try this place. Room was small and dingy and the bed was hard, small and had only two small pillows. Tried to turn on TV but wouldn't come and then finally figured out that it had been unplugged. Moving the small fridge out of the way to reach the TV plug it was obvious that no one had cleaned behind it for a very very very long time. Once the TV was on then the remote would only change channels in the downward direction. Very cheap pastries for breakfast. Upon leaving I observed the maid/maintenance come in immediately and began making the bed before I drove away. I saw that there was no change of sheets or anything even though the blanket was on the floor when I left. Long story short, you get what you pay for.

Not some place you would want to spend much time. It is a budget-priced hotel that has missed out on much updating. While the unit was mostly clean, it was tired. I expected and knew that going in, so wasn't overly surprised. The TV remote didn't work and the crack around the door and casing was enough to let air and light through, so I would be concerned during the winter months. The climate control (air conditioner) was a little loud, but did the job in keeping the room comfortable. The Best Value Inn is in its own class compared to the upper scale hotels surrounding it, but like I said, if you are just looking for a place to catch a night's sleep while travelling, at a fair rate, this would do the job.

We needed a cheap place to spend the night as we traveled cross country with our dog. This hotel was cheap ($88), but the room didn't feel like it was even worth that. It was a non-smoking room however it smelled of smoke. Everything felt wet and dirty. Wore shoes at all times. Strange stains on the walls in the bathroom. Breakfast is just mini muffins and other pastries.

Just the appearance of the outside made me want to cancel the reservation. The reviews on hotels.com were really nice. The only good thing about this hotel was the hot water and no noise. The beds were rough and the bedding wasn't the best. Stains on the sides of the beds. Good thing i was there for work and we work long hours. Staying there any extra time would have been bothersome. Usually i put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door due to me leaving expensive personal items in the room. I forgot this time but everything was safe and sound, nothing came up missing or broken. The breakfast was horrible. I had more choices back at home. The only thing i seen when i walked in was tiny donuts, bagels, muffins, and cereal, and maybe coffee. Overall i guess its a decent place. Just know what your walking into.
