The staff was super friendly but you had to call a number to get them to come to the desk. The hot tub in our room hadn’t had a cleaning cycle done for it since who knows when.

The room was a major disappointment. We chose this hotel because of the in-room tub. With the mirrors behind it, we felt it gave a "Scarface on a budget" vibe. However, as soon as we walked into the room, things were not as they appear on the pictures. The entryway light in the room was dangling and the doorknob stop was knocked from the wall. We were in a hurry to attend an event, so I took pictures and told the front desk on our way out. He seemed unconcerned and said there was already a maintenance order in for them. Based on the size of the hotel and the lack of anything else going on, I seriously doubted this. When we returned that evening, we started filling the tub to prepare for our royal treatment. The nozzle was loose as if someone used it to pull themselves out of the tub. Once we turned on the jets, what I can only describe as brown goo shot out with the water. It was evident it has not been maintained at all. During checkout, there was a different front desk person. I said I was here to check out and he said all he needed were our keys. I handed them to him and told him about the tub. He said okay, thanks for letting us know. He did not write anything down or even ask for our room number. The breakfast was not terrible, but very cheap, even by Super 8 expectations: corn flakes, frosted flakes, white bread, waffles, or instant oatmeal. The coffee comes from a machine that mixes it from concentrate.

Not so clean

There was a squashed dead roach on the wall. It had obviously been there for a good while. The room was hot upon arrival and once you got the AC turned on, it would turn off for abnormally long periods of time. So during the night, it got pretty warm. I had to request 4 extra pillows as the ones that were in the room were flat. Upon request, the gentleman told me he didn’t think he had any extra pillows. He did go look and then searched through pillow cases to, I can only guess, find a clean one. We then had to go and ask for two more towels as there were only 2 towels in a double queen room.

Price was good. Cigarette burn hole in the bedspread of nonsmoking room. There was no blanket on the bed just a sheet and the bedspread. No syrup for waffles just an awful spread instead of butter. No protein just carbohydrates (cold cereal, oatmeal, toast or a plain waffle) available for breakfast. The room was not clean. The mirrors had not been cleaned. Instead of doing a hold on the credit card for the deposit, the credit card was actually charged (at least it was reversed in a timely manner). I do appreciate that they had a working elevator and that we were placed on the 3rd floor with no one above us as I am a light sleeper.

Opened the door to my room and insects scattered across the floor, in sink, tub, on toilet, and bathroom floor. Very disturbing. Need to get an exterminator in that property. Room smelled old and musty. Bedding was old and outdated. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Hotel recently updated, new mattresses, paint, repaved parking lot, pool and hot tub functioning well. If you're wanting Ritz Hotel, this isn't it. It's a clean updated discount property. NO PETS OR SMOKING. $350 cleaning fee for smoking inside, $250 fee for animals. Breakfast is standard for this price range. It's clean discount lodging. I'll definitely stay again.

The night clerk questions every move you make. A stranger followed us in and he tried to charge us for trying to sneak someone in. There was a live roach in our room. The hot tub hets didn't work. Breakfast was a joke. The room was dirty.

Jacuzzi did not work, indoor pool was ice cold, dust and food crumbs all along the bed, pulled back the mattress pad and there was dried blood splatter. We checked out within an hour and the hotel refused to return our money.

The room was clean. It was however stale smelling and when i first turned on ac it had a musty smell. The beds were not comfy and the pillows were the same as beds. The room next to us had people who were cooking food ( we could hear them in there making it. It wasnt a microwave) in there and it made the hallway smell as they had their door cracked open.

Didn't clean the room/mke the bed on Saturday. Upon arrival, mirror was disgusting and you can tell it hasn't been cleaned in a while. NO BLANKET....just a sheet and top cover that was a patterned SHEET. No drain stopper in the bathroom sink.

Was fine for our purpose, which was a one night stay to visit our son in college. Staff was competent and nice but not dressed professionally at all. Room was somewhat dirty, with dust covering the bed headboards and cooling unit. Our toilet didn’t look like it had been cleaned recently with mold growing around the rim, and it also didn’t flush and required us to turn the water off and then back on to get it to flush. We were also missing a light bulb in one of the lamps. Towels were scratchy and very old. There was a sign on the wall that we would be charged if there was makeup on them, which was funny because they were so old and gross and needed to be replaced. That said, the beds were comfortable, the mini fridge was very cold, we felt safe and the location was convenient.
