Actual suite was quite nice and attempts had been made to decorate. Maintenance (lack)and cleanliness(lack) detracted from what at one time was a nice complex.

When I arrived, I was told the King/Queen Suite was not cleaned. Never received phone call to let me know the room was ready, as promised. Six hours later, I returned, was given our unit keys and the it was unclean. There was also a heavy roach presence outside that section of units. Second smaller unit given was in a different section but had a roach in the closet. First arrived at 2:40p.m. and after 9 p.m, was stuck searching for a place to stay. Stay clear!!

Desk clerk at check in came from a homeless shelter. Advertised breakfast did not exist. They ran out of coffee the previous day and the manager just left to buy some. Even though the room was fully prepaid they required an additional $100 deposit . No coffee in room and no plastic or glass to drink from. This place was a dump and should be removed from listing!

there was no house keeping, nothing to wash dishes with (no rug or dishes washing liquid)

I would like a refund for the $274.10 and the $100 damage deposit ASAP. I was so excited to spend the weekend in Columbia SC. The 2 nights at this hotel was my husband’s birthday gift, and I invited my sister to join us. I booked the 2 bedroom, 2 queen suite. It was not until checkin we were advised property under total renovation. First we were given keys to wrong room. Then I entered our 2 bedroom room to very dirty conditions. I opened utensil drawer and bugs jumped out. There were bugs all over kitchen counter., and top of refrigerator and inside cupboards covered in dirt. Only 2 plates, forks, knives, when they knew there were 3 of us staying. There was no curtain or door on the track separating the downstairs bedroom. I called front desk and he let us stay in the smaller room and then my sister in a same type smaller room, but on other side of building. So much for a cozy family get together. I looked down in our room and there was a large nail on carpet. My husband had seen it holding the arm of the desk chair together, and it had fallen out. Thank goodness none of us stepped on it! At 1115 Sat night, i heard knock on door. 2 police were outside room next to us. They get called regularly for noisy get togethers at this property. It was scary. There was old furniture and dumpsters all over outside. Amenities not as described. No “full breakfast”. They have a few items in a cooler you can microwave or consume. I could go on and on, but I think I have made my point.

The property is old and tired. The room was barely serviceable. The bed had sheets, only. No blanket, no spread, nothing. The furniture was broken down and tired. There was no trash can to place trash in. The room smelled vaguely of body odor. The smoke alarm appeared to be inoperable. The draperies were tattered. You get the picture. Don’t stay here.

First off thd morning of my check in they put me in the wrong room wasnt even the one i paid for then the lady working the front counter double charges my card so we finally get in our room next day was to lay out towels to get new clean ones so i did never recieved them key card stop working wenr to front desk to get it fjxed they didnt even have anyone listed in the room so finally get this straighten out come back next mornimg to extend anthor day then told the property manager aboit the room problem and his response was bascilly that i was lying there wasmt no way because he did it him self so then finally im the parkimg lot my buddies car gets broken into and some stuff is stolen so yes been a very stressful and messed up weekend

Staff was very nice. We evacuated for a hurricane and rooms were slim pickings. Very old property. Room had quite a few fruit flies. Very annoying car parked in the lot blasting awful music till about 10pm on 2 of the nights. Musty smell but expected for such outdated accomodations. Staff really could not have been more pleasant though.

It was a little dated but many places are. This is great for the money and the customer service wasn’t bad at all. The counter lady seemed pretty new but she was still friendly. Overall good. We would easily return.

I was very disappointed of this place. They said :” it’s family friendly hotel” keeping rooms in disgusting conditions. I was with my 2 years old son and his feet were black after I put him running barefoot. Carpet is in the room is so dirty that I don’t think it’s possible to make it clean. They just need to put a new one. I picked this hotel because they have a kitchenette in the room. This is true, but the only one pan I could use was so bad, I couldn’t use, specially for kid. I would throw away it years ago. I asked for another one, but they said they don’t have it. There is no microwave in the room, as promised! Hair dryer didn’t work. There are a lot of American cockroaches in the kitchen. Sofa was dirty and ripped. Rust is everywhere. It’s old dirty motel. Just be informed and ready. Towels and sheets were ok.

The price for a night's stay was extraordinarily low and the reviews were pretty good, so I gave it a try. The room was nice & large, although dated. Some things didn't work (telephone,remote, a light), but things were pretty orderly and the bed pretty comfortable. All in all, I got what I paid for, but it wasn't good enough to recommend.

At first I was skeptical staying here, coming from across the country we had no idea what to expect but let me just say we are so happy we picked this hotel! Everything was perfect, staff was nice and we even had a BBQ / pool day with the kids! Rooms are very spacious! Basically a mini apartment! Kitchen had fridge, stove, plates, utensils! We will definitely be staying here again ! My family loved this hotel, especially with a total of 11 of us including 4 kids, felt like home away from home

Hotel was clean; however room was dated and matress was bowed from over use. The staff was very nice and freindly.
