The layout: Three full bedrooms, two full baths, and a converted lounge space with twin beds and a cozy fire place meant my family had ample room to spread out and enjoy our time in CO Springs. The kitchen and breakfast nook allowed for quick morning meals feeding our 3 teenage boys, while the dining table sat all 6 of us for dinners. There is an office space/laundry area, but we didn’t use it. Honestly, the last thing I wanted to think about was doing laundry or working on vacation.
Ashley has everything clearly labeled, fully stocked, and provided a wealth of local information and guidance for our trip. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials, to include k-cups, cooking sprays, spices, and condiments. Each room was themed and my mother appreciated the massage feature of the bed in the wilderness room after a day at Monarch Mountain.
The location: We were able to watch the NYE fireworks from the porch and didn’t have to deal with crowds. The house is located in an older neighborhood with a lot of new growth/development near by. Stores and restaurants were within a few minutes drive or a 15-20 minute walk. We loved how close we were to Garden of the Gods and wish we’d had more opportunities to explore the trails, but our time flew by.
10/10 would stay again and recommend this property. I’ve stayed in numerous properties in the US and Europe, and this was hands down my favorite.
