people great. Small Inn they have been fixing up. It felt happy and safe place to stay in this crazy world. Will return to see the improvements they are working on. One owners is a widow and works 7 days week supporting her family. Great place.

We stayed one night. The shower was very small 4' x 4', the shower head didn't look like it had ever been cleaned. In the morning the bathroom floor was wet, the shower head had been dripping all night. There was a three-quarter inch gap under the door, and a stain on the bed sheet. I understand the hotel is old, but I was disappointed.

My wife and I resided at the Manitou Inn and Suites from January 2018 through November 2018 while looking for suitable place to live. We became close with the staff and guests during this time period. The staff has changed for the better. The guests vary from short-term transient to long term. I feel the #1 draw to this hotel is the price, location, abundance of marijuana along with the hotel's Canna Cabana. Guests come far and and wide to stay at this hotel and to be able to smoke as much recreational marijuana as they are able or afford. The incessant smoking of marijuana along with the use of alcohol and other illicit drugs tends to be problematic. Renovations have been ongoing as time and money allow. The hotel has limited amenities and doesn't compare to the other chains. The owner and staff are very nice and always willing to lend a hand when you need one. Many thanks to Sharrie, Rachel and Melissa for the time we spent there. If you need a no frills, low budget lodging, this is your place. Its locationed right off Route 24 and less than a mile from the Colorado Springs city line.

I have nothing bad to say. We stayed in one of many recently updated rooms. Hardwood floors throughout, good cable selection, cold air conditioners and clean in all respects. All of their rooms are smoke free but they are 420 friendly and if you are too, there is a Canna Cabana! Yes, you heard me, a special secluded hut full of friendly faces. Usually the guests are equipped with different forms of 420 varietals and the enthusiasm to teach you how to enjoy each option. Imagine all the best aspects of a bar without the inconvenience of drunks! "Weed Thor", the resident leader of the scene, holds Dabby Hour fairly often and you feel right at home

This place was one of the worst places to stay in the area. The rules for dogs are very bad they make you walk across street to take them out.The management says u can't smoke in the rooms but they have a smoking area. A.c. units did not work room was filthy. Go down the street for more comfort!! Please do not stay here!! Rooms are not worth the 80.00 night plus tax.

This place is amazing... the canna cabana is sweeeet and the weed Thor rocks! I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff is friendly and the environment is nice. Highly recommended. If you want a chill place to stay this is a must see.

First of all the pool is like a cement pond like on the Beverly hillbillys. They charge from 300.00 up a week but it's really more. So if you were to stay there a month which is all manitou allows anyway you pay 1200 to 1500 for one of thier rooms. Its tourist season so they act like thier doing you a favor charging you 300 to 400 a week.to stay with them. I tried to get my son a room there who is 30 and going through what some 30 year olds are like these days children!! . So I put down a 100 deposit and in tiny print it says no refund deposit. So if you rent a room and then want your deposit back like any other hotel would give you except this one. Forget ever seeing your deposit. Now its 300 and up for the older rooms and the manager took 100 deposit for the week..My son decided not to stay a week. So the manager said he could stay two nights refused to give me any money back. She would give a credit. So he stayed one night which was supposed to be 74.09 with tax. I called the manager said she would give me the difference which was a lie so I paid 100 for a 74.00 room..The moral of the story is they changed prices on a whim..If you give them.deposit money dont expect to see it again..My son called up afterwards and cussed at them on the phone so now I was not untitled to any refund..This hotel preys on homeless people who work and cant get a house or apartment anywhere else and make it seem they are doing some one a favor. The manager said she would rebut anything I wrote on TripAdvisor which makes me oh so scared. This hotel has allot of people who live there work for them and still charges them arm and a leg. My son said people were fighting most of the night the hotel denys this. I have over 20000 followers on here and have written many reviews. There are a lot better hotels to stay in manitou They advertise 300 week rates on thier sign but it's a bate and switch tactic. One thing if you like paying allot and smoking pot in there pot room this is the place for you. One great benefit a employee Sam a girl is nice and friendly but other then this stay somewhere else. By the way the color in the pool gives it the cement pond on the Beverly hillbillies .I tell the truth. ENJOY.

The staff were actually very helpful and it is animal friendly. The room was below average and a bit 'overused' to put it nicely. If they truly are working to upgrade it has great potential. For now, I'd wait and go somewhere else.

about $250 weekly or $60 a night. very close to pikes pike and in the heart of Manitou. it has a local charm to it. Its very close to Garden of the "Free" Gods. I noticed Deer around. The air is fresh, the beds are soft.

Don't listen to the bad reviews, if you are social, love a down to earth people and atmosphere this place is for you. Employees and Manager Yogi are extremely good people. If you are looking for a hometown friendly place, come.
