Avoid they will shuffle you rooms

Bad Bad Bad experience. I paid for family room and 2 days I was placed in large room then they moved to a basic room as they overbooked the hotel rooms. Horrible treatment, would not recommend and would never stay in future.

Convenient Stay

I stayed for a week as a solo traveler for business, the hotel is very close to the station. I think it might be just bit priced. Breakfast was so so, did not have much veg food apart from Salads etc. Though as per instructions I used to hang my towel so that it dows not go to wash, they would still take it, so not environmentally Friendly. Ok for a short stay

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The walk to the Cologne Cathedral was very short and safe. The location is excellent, and the price was very reasonable. The only negative comment I would make is that the room was not air-conditioned, but the staff provided a portable air conditioner and a fan which made the room comfortable at night. I would recommend staying here.

Great hotel next to the train station

Very nice staff, centrally located a 5-minute walk from the train station, reasonable price, good wifi, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. Would stay here again! Has pay parking available.

Hotel was in the such a convenient place to break a journey at Cologne station. It was by a busy road junction and close to the station, so not silent but convenience could not be bettered

Excellent location

With this hotel located so close to the main train station in Cologne I was surprised at the low cost. The room was a really nice size and although we found the pillows a little unusual they were still comfortable. It was a hot evening and despite the window letting in some air it would have really benefitted from some air conditioning. The sound from the trains may be a problem for some but we got used to the sound shortly after settling in. The staff at this hotel were extremely pleasant and welcoming and the breakfast on offer in the morning had a nice selection which was constantly topped up.

Everything very good

Surprise gem 1 minute away from HBF train station， while situate in a quiet area， but NOT freaky neightbourhood at all. Like a mini 4 stars hotel. Good quality towels，Grohe faucets， comfortable bed and bedding， nice simple decor， can tell it has been nicely designed.

Ideal weekend hotel

Great location just a couple of minutes from the central train station and old town. Plenty of shops, convenience stores and bars within a five minute walk. The front desk speaks excellent english. The room could use an update but was good enough. The hotel is very well priced and I would stay there again.

Great for a short break

The only thing that stops me from giving it a five rating overall is the fact that there was no air conditioning. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. A great stay.
