I have recently stayed in Time square cochin. their check in time is 12 noon, I have had reached an hour before 12 noon and vacated at 3 pm next day. they charged me 3 days fees. cleanliness is also poor. food below average.
With a location as good as this hotel, the only reason this hotel isn't number one on the list is the staff. They are just appalling. There is no initiative from them, they are usually negative about every request and are just uninterested in what they do. The rooms one can't complain about. They are clean with beds that are comfortable and bathrooms that are well maintained.
Location - Right opposite the house of the Chief justices, decent distances to MG road and the railway station, not exactly in the heart of the town though.. Building - Looks good from outside. Every floor has a common glass enclosed balcony that can be really relaxing in the mornings. rooms - Cozy, extremely comfy beds, decent furnishings, TV too small, restricted channels (non HD too). Food - Complementary breakfast is wanting.. but the room service food was good. beef fry in particular was excellent.
The hotel is situated at the city center with easy access to all the landmarks. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are small and well kept. They have a minimal breakfast which is good and tasty.
Location is excellent, close to lot of shopping malls, restaurant etc. if you wish to go fort kochi best is to get ferry boat from the jetty which is close to the hotel it will save lot of your time & avoid traffic plus a wonderful experience. Rooms were clean, staff was helpful. Would recommend this hotel for family & business travellers as well.
Good location and nice supportive staff. We have stayed for just a night but overall experience was good. Breakfast at the restaurant was good. Rooms are clean and tidy. Everything at the hotel was good, only thing was we had to ask for toilet papers, wish they could do it while preparing rooms for guests.
The hotel is very good & cheap compared to money i paid. The rooms are small but with good air conditioning as required in this part of world. Breakfast buffet was excellent. So overall good hotel with value for money
Appalling customer service provided by breakfast staff on duty on Sunday 17 March who alleged restaurant was closed when we reached it by 9.30am although we had been advised the night before that breakfast was served until 10am. Exceptionally lazy staff on duty. Ladies on reception disinterested with our complaints re restaurant. We insisted on being provided with breakfast - something that was part of the booking deal. Room balcony disgusting with discarded razor blade and cigarette butts. Will NOT visit again.
We stayed here for one night. We reached here too late and it was around 12pm because of delay in flight. But staff guys made arrangement very soon and also provided water to us. Breakfast was too good and also jeera hot water which was good at the time and asked for extra jeera water. They provided full bottle and made us happy. Good hotel in city limits
Had stayed here for a day, with family, while at Kochi last week. It is located just about 100m off MG Road, right behind the famous Woodlands Hotel (Woodlands Junction), which is certainly the best thing about it. The rates are alright, if you get the discounted fare (available on multiple sites). It has scant parking, right in front and perpendicular to the road, and is a vertical, columnar construction without much premises. It has a nice restaurant called Uruli, which serves pretty decent Kerala cuisine (I can say that for the Beef Ularthiyathu (very good), Porotta, and Fish Curry meals). There is a small lift that can take 4, and a narrow staircase too. Each floor has very few rooms and the room for 3 adults we stayed in was reasonably furnished, with OK amenities. The tea kettle supplies had to be asked for, and even after that there were no milk sachets - so gave up on it. The bathroom is pretty large and well lit, and towels and soap/ shampoo is provided. All in all, I won't by any measure say it was memorable, but is alright for a short halt, if you aren't inside the hotel for much time other than to sleep!
