I happened to check-in to Hotel Bright Heritage @ fort kochi..... it was a nice break.. nice n warm staff, the Manager a pleasant Man always smiling n joking who later I learnt was the Owner(speaks 7 Indian languages) of the hotel then met his wife( speaks 7 Indian languages) also involved in the operations directly . They give personnel attention to each n every Guest I believe and are all over the place.. yezz Nov 1st was the opening of there MIDNITE KAFE on the Roof top... open from 11pm to 7am.... the only place in Fort Kochi for a Cup of Kofee or some quick Bites after 11pm...well the restaurant was buzzing with foreigners for the lunch n dinner to have the exclusive sea food n grills. Me typical South Indian enjoyed my fish curry rice n other really woow South Indian dishes... sincerely would recommend this hotel to anybody who goes to fort kochi... Wish the couple Ms & Mr. Menon all the BEST in running this hotel
Room was adequate for our needs, clean and tidy. The rooftop restaurant was quirky and at the time the staff were dealing with a rooftop flood which had occurred before breakfast. The staff were friendly and the food was good.
We visited this place for lunch. First of all no menu was provided on arrival. A lady took order orally. We order as attached. The food was served in approx an hour later. Till the time other food was prepared, salad could have been provided. But they got all the food items together later. And the food quantity was half of what the other restaurants serve (For a week we have been in kerela and had the best sea foods and at a lower cost). Please note water was not served until we asked it again in between our lunch. However, bill was given when we were half through our lunch. And it was not even a proper bill. It was just an estimate memo. Simply the worst experience we could ever have...
The tea was excellent at the Fables restaurant and the vegetarian food was really good. The service was fast and the ambience of the restaurant was to my liking. It is walkble distance to the bus station and the Chinese fishing nets. I would like to visit again.
The hotel has been located in prime location, nearby to Kashi Art cafe, David Art Gallery cafe, chinese fishing nets, Kochi boat jetty. The place is also near to the airport bus station. The hotel service is very good. The toiletries are not up to the mark. They don't provide dental kit. The hotel room are clean and huge. The hotel staff is very friendly and keeps to well informed about the places nearby. The hotel rooms do not have WiFi in the rooms.
A small hotel, rooms average in need of updating. They offer breakfast on the roof top but no other meals. Hotel is basic and near to all local amenities. no lift so have to carry luggage to rooms. Rooms have air con. No tea/coffee facilities. There is a fridge in the room which was dirty so didn't use.
This is a very inexpensive and perfectly adequate hotel. The room was clean and comfortable if a bit worn and dark. The bathroom was large with plentiful hot water. The staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel is well located within a few blocks of Princess St. and the waterfront. Skip the hotel breakfast and walk around the corner to Qissa Cafe
Our retreat participants thoroughly enjoyed their stay at Bright Heritage. The food accommodations, and staff were excellent. One of our participants commented, "The hotel staff was very nice. helpful and accomodating. They welcomed us and always greeted us with a smile." They are especially helpful in arranging extra excursions and additional travel We will definitely be staying here again!
This was a lovely hotel for our short stay. All the staff were very cheerful and friendly. The bedroom was very clean, with bottled water, soap, towels and toilet paper (things you can't always guarantee in India). The AC was fine. Wifi a bit variable and only on landings and lobbies, not in room. Hot water not always available. Overall, I enjoyed staying here, had good sleeps? Well situated for Chinese fishing nets and boats.
Managers and workers are the kindest people I've ever met in India. Hot water, strong wifi(at the lobby and ; inside the rooms it is a bit slow), A/C and fans runs well, everyday new towels, new bed seats!!! Not expensive price, rooms are so Clean and comfortable👍👍👍👍👍especially I love the breakfast, coffee and tea time at the rooftop(second-wife restaurant)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you so much Rahman, Kanchan, Chippu, MD, and manager😆
