My son and I were in town to attend an event at Fresno State. While we had to drive to this hotel, it was very close by car. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast that was available in the hotel's dining room: traditional hotel breakfast buffet, plus eggs, potatoes, and breakfast ...
We enjoy coming to the Pines for a rustic adventure. The quaint chalets are fun to stay in. Not a typically hotel room but more like a town house with kitchen stove fridge etc. Has a bedroom downstairs and a pullout sofa in the living area. Also a fun loft maybe only 6’x10’ for the kids to play in. ...
We planned on two nights, ended up adding a third night. Very comfortable, however the third night a rude couple with at least one screaming child moved in next door. At 9:45 pm we asked them to quiet her down, no response. So we contacted the front desk who came to the room and talked to them. They ...

Honestly was pleased with the hotel. Loved the convenience of the locatikn Nice updated carpet in the rooms also hotel hallways , bedding decor, furniture. The bathroom was very clean loved the shower curtains. Breakfast was super nice and hot and fresh. Sister only had one complaint had gotten a stain juice lip stick on sheet bed was made but no clean sheets were replaced on the bed when she called down to front desk was told she could come down and get a set of clean sheets to replace herself. Didn’t sit well with her at all.
The motel was OK. It could use some updating. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. The location was good for walking to restaurants and shopping. The breakfast provided was adequate. It was not as close to Yosemite as I thought it would be.
