Pros: Great staff, price point, location, spacious king bed suite, plenty towels, comfortable bed, and mostly clean. Cons: The suite interior was outdated. The flickering bathroom light that finally burnt out. No liner for the shower curtain and several strands of long black hair clinging to the shower curtain. Overall the pros outweigh the cons and we'll be back.

Good Experience for the Price, but Needs a Refresh Overall, I had a decent stay and felt it was worth the price, especially for the location. The hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance to Old Town Clovis, which made our girls' night out super convenient and fun. The staff was kind, attentive, and very helpful, which made a big difference in our experience. That said, the hotel itself is older and could use a serious update. The room was cool and comfortable, and I slept well on the main bed, but the sofa bed was dated and worn out. The rest of the hotel felt hot and muggy in contrast to the room. My key card didn’t always work on the first swipe, which was a minor annoyance. The pool was much smaller than expected, looked a bit cloudy, and had a lot of leaves in it. Security at the hotel could also be improved. The complimentary breakfast was basic—waffles, eggs, muffins, cereal, yogurt, and biscuits with gravy. It did the job, but don’t expect anything fancy. Parking was close and easy, which was a nice bonus. In summary: the hotel definitely needs a revamp, but for the price and location, it was a good experience. I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless some updates were made, but it worked well for this trip.

Our room was comfy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. But we stayed 2 nights/3 days and housekeeping never came to our room. Keycards also didn’t work well and we had to go to the front desk and replace them twice during our stay.

The staff was fine not real friendly but polite. Clerked ASKED if we wanted maid service during our stay (granted only 2 nights) we said yes but did not get any. I would have really liked the coffee in the room restocked. The lighting in the room was too dim, nice if thats what you want. At our age we prefer to see. Shower was not hot enough and the shower head sucked. A/C seemed old, and at 100+ degrees we would have appreciated something better. Also I would have liked someone to offer senior discounts or other benefit, nothing was offered online or onsite.

Don't trust the online pictures.

Another hotel by hotels.com with fake pictures of the actual rooms. What you see online it's not what the rooms look like. We got a room with a very strong smell of urine, furniture is old and worn and the room in general felt dirty.

Furniture are very old, sofabed mattress is tearing apart, literally! For rest is so old, it's like chewed by dogs. Carpet looks worn out too. Staffs are very helpful though.

Difficult to roll luggage on carpeted floors. key cards had some difficulty unlocking room doors. not just mine. i heard other patrons trying to open their door several times too. Printer in cafe didnt work but no one bothered to put a note on it so I wasted time trying to print something up. breakfast had some nice choices. air and heater took awhile to figure out-would have been nice if that had been explained to me. would have appreciated knowing that for 2 days and 3 nights that sheets would not bee changed or given clean towels. liked the many tv channel choices. really appreciated the $50 savings on expedia. there was a really funky handicapped parking stall on on side of the parking that was stuck in the corner so when a truck parked in the stall perpendicular to it the handicapped stall could not be used. that really needs to be changed. easy fix. leads me to believe just how you feel about handicapped people. staff was okay. none of them exerted any more friendliness than they had to.
