Hands down best front desk clerk! Her name is Brittany. I had been on the road 5 hrs and she was just a refreshing, helpful break from my stressful trip. I was very satisfied with my room and amenities.
Very nice property to stay in Warsaw. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was excellent. There is plenty of restaurant near by.Bed was comfortable and the room was clean.I will definitely stay again when I am in town.
This is very nice property when we stoped on way to home. All other hotel were sold out so we had to stay in this hotel but it was surprise to get nice guest room in this type of hotel.Very nice facilities to stay.
Stumble on to this hotel on the way back from Myrtle Beach Seafood festival. The weather was bad and we decided to make this stop. Really glad we did. The hotel was really nice and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and we had a totally good night sleep. The only thing I didn't like was a crack along side the door and you could see outside. The door needs to have some type of weather stripping put in to block the light out from the outside. Otherwise, we would stay there again . . . very nice hotel.
I stayed there last night and let me tell you everything was so nice, the rooms were very nice and clean the room service was great and the place is also pet friendly. The next morning I went to breakfast and it was off the chain. I would tell anyone if you need a place to stay please check this place out
hotel was recently renovated. Room was nice and cozy. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Walking distance from a variety of restaurants. Highly recommend to anyone visiting this area!
I am normally not a very picky person but for $100 per night I expect the minimum services being honored in a clean environment. Unfortunately being in such a rural location there wasn’t a lot to choose from, so changing hotels wasn’t really an option. First off, and this should have been my first sign to run, arrival was met with the front lobby windows broken out and covered with plywood, we were there a week and never saw anyone working on them to replace. The maid service is atrocious, we didn’t receive service for two days and when we asked about it we were told she had left for the day (was there only one)? When we needed more towels they said if we wanted some we could come to the front desk and get them ourselves (such nice customer service). The mirror was cracked in our room, the walls were dirty, electrical issues blinking lights, trash outside our window and an old toilet, bugs in the room! Do not use the pool, the light under the water was barely connected to the socket under water and was floating. When one of our doors wouldn’t lock the front desk told me to jiggle it and lift up! Believe me I tried that, they finally agreed to come down and look at it and they did give us another room. The morning breakfast is the bare minimum and zero fruit, so if you are a healthy eater forget it. I don’t want to come off completely negative, the iron in the room worked great. It’s just run down and has some serious maintenance issues that hopefully corporate will look into.
The hotel looks very clean and nice from outside. The room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed here for 3 nights but no issue as some comments beloved reviews. The pools was very clean and we liked there deck to enjoyed under hot wether. The staff was friendly and helpful as needed. We will defiantly come back for next year family visit in Warsaw.
We checked in Friday evening September 22, 2017. The front desk attendant was very nice. They had no king beds so we settled for two queens in one room, she offered to reduce the normal rate by ten dollars-so we accepted. Upon entry into the room-it smelled musty, and the front of the small a/c unit was cracked. I called to report this to the front desk attendant-she didn't seem to care. I immediately noticed the carpet in the main area next to the beds had not been vacuumed. I called the front desk again and informed the attendant-she said she would pass it on to the manager-she didn't say she would be up or have someone come up to clean it.My girlfriend also noticed what looked like grease spots on the top sheets of both beds. We went across the street to eat at the barbecue chicken place and came back to our room. I needed to use the rest room, and when I looked down on the floor- I noticed where someone had obviously missed the toilet and hit the floor with their bodily waste fluid, and it was lying on the floor-dried over and glossy. My girlfriend also informed me that as she was returning from outside smoking a cigarette, she saw bugs crawling around the carpet in the hallway to our room. It's a good thing we didn't unpack anything- we quickly gathered our belongings and loaded them into our vehicle. I drove around front and informed the front desk attendant that in all the places I have stayed at in my sixty years, this was the most disgusting place I have ever seen! She did apologize but didn't seem a bit surprised. I asked for a full refund. She said she could not do that and I would have to speak to the owner/manager-Mr. John Patel. She did offer us another room-I told her after what I had just seen I would not stay there for free. She said the manager would be there to relieve her at 1 am. I asked her to have him call me when he got in-they had my phone number from the registration info. We left and we got a little down the road, I remembered I never got a receipt, so I called her back and she said the manager would send me one via e-mail-which I then provided her with. He never called. At approx 8 am Saturday morning September 23,2017 I called asking for the manager-the lady said he would be in around noon. I called at approximately 12:30 pm and after being placed on hold for about 5 minutes, the owner/manager Mr. Patel came on the phone. I explained to him the events as described above. He asked me if the front desk attendant offered us another room-I told him yes she did. He explained that since she did offer another room, and we had been in the room over an hour-he was not refunding my money. I thanked him and hung up. I would have rated this place a quarter of a one if I could. I am calling the Duplin County North Carolina health department first thing Monday morning and reporting this place, as well as the better business bureau, and the local chamber of commerce-if there is one there. Stay away people- this place is disgusting. We ended up driving another hour and finding a nice place in Wilmington. And as of 8:50 pm Saturday 9/23-2017- I still have not received my receipt.
Let me start off by saying that i have stayed at this place several times in the past but will no longer be a customer in the future. I stayed with them over the weekend and got a call from the manager stating that i stole 3 pillows from them. I did not and he was not even trying to listen to me because he "checked the room himself" and had counted 8 pillows prior to our stay there. The housekeeper said that she counted 8 as well. I asked the manager to look up my past stays. why would i steal from the one decent place to stay in town? that makes no sense. I have been staying there for years because it is decent for the price you pay. I didn't complain the the toilet seat was broken and sliding off of the bowl. I didn't complain when i had to wait for 5 minutes for the night person to finish there nap so that i could check out. i understand that this is not the Hilton or anything. What i can't forgive or forget is someone calling me a thief and then robbing me of money that i don't owe you. i feel that that is irresponsible. For people who are going to stay there, you may want to get someone to check your room, for all chargeable items, when you check in and then again when you check out. or take pictures or something. that is the best advice i can give decent people who have to stay here. i say have to because it is a very small town and this is the best hotel out of your two choices. the bad part is that i noticed it was an odd count of pillows on the bed, 3 on 1 bed and 2 on the other, but i didn't think much of it because i was OK with whatever i had. i hope this review helps people head off a problem before it happens. good luck!
