was taken aback at the appearance of the house upon arrival. It appears that no one cared that the house had been booked for that weekend. At the side door we were met with huge spider webs that are full of trapped bugs. We had to duck down to enter the house. The outside of the house is unkept. The kitchen has a huge grey rug covering the exposed wood. The floor is warped in several areas. Lifted up the mat in front of the sink, water bugs scattered & dog hair exposed. Increasing my disappointed that the owner did not inform me of the water damage & how she would do her best to accommodate her guests.That would have shown genuine concern & respect for the people booking the home. One of my guest has a wheelchair & another uses a cane.The deck was full of debris. I had to sweep yard debris & knock down spider webs on the deck light, banisters, & outdoor furniture. Each bathroom had small bugs by the sinks. The toilets had a water ring which reveals they had not been cleaned.The room across from the dining table has exposed wires from the wall mounted TV. The room off the kitchen has a mattress on a bed frame. The bed frame is facing the wrong direction & the end rail is exposed. My guest hit her leg twice. That’s the end that is supposed to be against the wall for the headboard. The cookware is old & dirty. The website description of 2 beds in each room is inaccurate. Site list it’s for 13 people. Dining table seats 6. Couch seats 6.The owner didn’t apologize for anything.
