My room had several vertical slats missing from the vertical blinds. The roll down sheer blind was broken and would not roll up. There were no other drapes so half the window had no blinds at all and the street lights kept the room bright all night. Old furniture that was falling apart, dirty carpet, nasty bathroom, shower control was scalding hot or cold. The battery on my door lock stopped working. I went to breakfast in the lobby and the room looked nice. I sat down on the chair and springs were coming through. I tried two other chairs and they were the same. It is an old hotel in poor condition.

The first room we were given had hair all over the bathtub and back of the toilet, and residue inside the fridge. [To which Deidre at the front desk asked me “What do you want me to do about it?”] We were given another room, with a disability shower, and with 3 kids needless to say it was rather inconvenient. The new room also had less storage for our items (5 people) no main sink, and no extra bedding for the pull out sofa. We had no TV in the bedroom area until the second night, and the blinds in the windows were torn off so the stadium lights would shine through our windows. We never received stayover service in our 3 night stay, I had to ask housekeeping every day for extra coffee pods and towels. 2 nights of our stay the hot tub jets did not work, which was another reason we chose this particular hotel. Directly across the entrance of the building on Carnegie Ave is Behavioral Health Services, and the general area did not feel the safest compared to other areas we have stayed in Downtown Cleveland. Oh, and $18 per person for dry scrambled eggs and cold bacon? No thank you. I would never stay at this location again, or recommend anyone to stay there.

Clean, Friendly Staff, Close to Ballpark

This is a great hotel to stay at if you're going to a Cleveland Guardians baseball game. Yes, you have to pay extra for the parking but it's not too big of a hassle. You just fill out your car information with staff at the front desk and that lets you into the lot. The staff at the front desk was friendly and accommodating, even on a busy gameday. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I stay here anytime I come through Cleveland.

There was a few small issues with the room like our toilet seat being broken. HOWEVER, the worst part is their parking situation. I DO NOT recommend paying to park there. At least 5 cars got broken into, including mine which was drove around considering it was parked in a completely different spot, and 1 got stolen. I’m now dealing with a lot of damage to my car.

The stay was fine. Until I walked out into the parking lot, where I paid to stow my vehicle and my back passenger window was smashed inwards and the contents of my center console were all over my front seat. I tried to call the hotel but now one answered. I had traveled from Western New York and paid over $500 for a room that is normally $150 because of the events that were in town that week.
