Four Points By Sheraton Cleveland Airport3.0 out of 5.0

We travel relatively frequently and choose to stay at Sheraton/Starwood properties most times...ranging from basic (category 2) properties to luxury (category 5) properties. Typically the properties are located in good to great locations, are clean and comfortable, and offer a variety of on-premise amenities and even more "nearby" amenities. This is NOT the case here... The location is sketchy at best, condition/quality of the property is dismal. The restaurant/bar are almost always empty (perhaps due to the fact that there are nasty smells in the hall approaching the bar/restaurant and that the tables and bar counter are seldom cleaned prior to being seated. Then the nasty smell mentioned here also greets visitors when leaving the check-in counter and walking toward the rear of the hotel (smell is strongest near the pool area...though is not a pool-related smell). Housekeeping was missed on 2 occasions, of which one was an explicit request...and when asked for at least a refresh of towels, coffee, cups, and glasses...we were provided with one town that had what appeared to be a blood stain on it, another with an orange/brown stain, plastic glasses that came unwrapped, and paper coffee cups of which one had a cherry stem in the bottom of the cup. Front desk was advised, but no action was evident/apparent (though other than perhaps being provided an apology and discount, not sure we would ever know what was done..., and since we did not receive either an apology or discount, we certainly had no idea if anything was done to improve service.) Parking lot leaves one wondering if car will stolen or vandalized overnight. Room itself was "ok" if a person were to simply stay in the room the whole time. Would never return, and never recommend...and this is a strong statement from this "Lifetime Gold" member of the Starwood loyalty club. This property should be sold off to a discount hotelier and removed from Starwood/Sheraton to avoid continuing brand damage... (those within Cleveland area, Canton area, and as far away as Columbus area all were aware of the hotel and the area it is located in and wondered why on earth we would stay there. Our response was that the price was more reasonable than many and on the Internet, the property looked to be acceptable...but, reality was so much different...)
It worked for a quick, cheap, weekend stay. Rooms are small but clean. Service was good, the front desk staff very friendly and provided us drink tickets. The tub was cracked at the bottom and came up. Taking a shower wasn't a great experience.
Check-in was quick and friendly. My room was very nice and clean as I expected. I did get a bit a noise from the television in the room and some noise from people talking in the parking lot outside the room. If you need total darkness to sleep, you will have a problem since even with the shades pulled, there is some light coming through. I was fortunate to find a hotel package that offered free breakfast for 2. This was a real cooked to order breakfast with eggs, meat, potatoes, toast, coffee and juice in the hotel's restaurant.
Constance and Robin were so fun and welcoming! Very accommodating and friendly. This is the BEST CLE airport hotel PERIOD. They have an amazing lobby bar with large screen tv's everywhere, only $5 per night to park when you are flying out of Cleveland, and SUPER comfy beds. I used to stay at the Sheraton Airport Hotel...No Longer! The shuttle runs 24/7 and will get you to the airport whenever you need to at no charge. STAY HERE!
Nice, clean, bare bones. Hot and stuffy in hallways. Weird entrance and parking at back of hotel made slightly uncomfortable after dark. Requested handicap room miles away from front desk. Nice and clean. Good bed, quiet rooms in back. Took forever to cool down room. Friendly helpful staff. Avoid the restaurant. Cracked sink, cramped bathroom, but very nice just the same. Comfortable for the price and close to airport. Would stay again. Interior of hotel is just plain ugly. Who needs 30 'tv in bar when hallways aren't air Conditioned? Lobby furniture impossible for anyone over 30.
This hotel is great for a one night stay. The rooms are clean, the ice is cold, the air-conditioning works and the beds are nice and fluffy. It's close to the airport and is relatively inexpensive for what you get. There are some specials that include breakfast but we chose for an easy in easy out scenario. Management could make a couple positive changes like fixing the ice machine on the third floor but otherwise I have no complaints whatsoever about the hotel. Its bar, restaurant and closeness to the airport make It is a good place to stay when traveling through Cleveland.
Indoor pool and comfy bed but the lobby was hard to find and underwhelming. Also, they couldn't find my group number so I did not get my points 🙁and the front desk person wasn't especially nice or friendly.
We booked this hotel last minute through parksleepfly.com before our flight to Mexico. The price for a room, parking for a week & the shuttle to & from the airport was the best we had found! The front desk staff was amazingly helpful for our group of 14 needing the shuttle. The rooms were clean & just enough for the night. It's close to the highway & lots of places to eat or visit around the area. We fly out of Cleveland often due to the pricing of the flights. We will definitely stay here again!!
Me & My wife are turning into SPG snobs like we know what we are talking about so why not review this hotel? Great friendly staff, clean rooms, perfect location near the airport if you are flying out or driving into downtown to see the sights & sounds of Cleveland. Didn't have time to use the pool but it looked clean & kids were having fun. Included Breakfast was top notch and most importantly, the Sheraton Bed (which I think is always made out of clouds and the hopes of humanity??) was perfect. If we are ever in Cleveland again, we will definitely be back at this hotel. SPG brand has been maintained at this location.
This is an older hotel, and the rooms are somewhat small. But it was clean and comfortable. There is a bar/restaurant attached to the front, making it difficult to see where to check in. The food was good, the beer was cold, and free samples of beers and bar be que on Wednesdays was great. No hot tub, but a nice warm indoor pool, 8' at the deepest. Nice place. We'd stay again.
