There were gnats coming from the air conditioner unit in the room. My room had to be changed to another floor where there were gnats in that room as well. The front desk staff were very unprofessional except for one guy who actually brought the key to my room when I asked to change rooms. The fridge didn’t work in the first room. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls of the hallways. The window are dirty. It’s a nice location but needs remodeling and a severe deep clean of biggie the property and their employees.

The location of this property is the selling point. It’s walkable to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Huntington Stadium. It was a rocky start because we only had two bath towels for three people booked. It took us 8 hours to get the third towel. We believe that it was because the hotel was fully booked but we originally booked for three people so we should have had three towels. The property was dated and had cosmetic issues but it was very clean. There was a bar but really no food options on the property but there was options within walking distance. I would book there again due to the location and the friendly staff. Checking in and out was a breeze. Taking everything into account. I would say this hotel was a good value for the price.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire life. I had NINE sets of room key cards because the keys were not working to enter the rooms. They switched my room twice, and I had to be downgraded to a standard when I paid for deluxe. I went from the 18th floor to the 7th floor and the room on the 18th floor was nasty. The tub was chipping, and there were tiles behind the toilet that were loose and hanging off,……Me being 7 months pregnant and having to keep going up and down the elevator and jumping on the phone to tell them SEVERAL times my keys are not working FOR A WEEK STRAIGHT just for them to issue me new keys and those keys are still not working is unacceptable and ridiculous. Even the nice white guy who works at the front desk his master key didn’t even work so it took for his key not to work for someone to finally listen to my complaint. And even AFTER my room got switched and downgraded maintenance STILL had to come up TWICE to let me in the room because keys were still not working. I couldn’t even get out of the parking garage because the keys did not work and the black lady with the glasses had a nasty attitude and cut me off as I’m explaining to her This key does not work…… I will never ever stay here ever again. I will be in touch with corporate and I would like my stay to be compensated for my terrible inconvenience…….I’m very upset The Westin was booked up because that’s where I would have been. I do not recommend anybody to stay here.

This hotel is filthly. The loacation is great and staff is friendly, but our room was disgusting with mold on bathroom ceiling, dirty tub, dust and dirt accummulated in the carpet corners, and massive staining on carpets. There is no operational pool, and the outdoor area is unkept. Photos are definitely from a time when the property was casted for.

If one of the reasons you’re choosing a hotel is for a pool, then don’t stay here. On the main page of Expedia, they have listed that there’s a pool. So we booked the room with kids, checked it, went to the room, went to go look for the pool, and was told they closed it about 7 years ago! The room was a little dated and a little dirty, but the hotel staff was really nice and the breakfast was decent.

Hi there I’ve been calling since I left the building on Sunday August 9, 2025 @ 1100am or somewhere around there. I left 2 diamond rings in front of the window on table as the big mirror is there. One ring my wedding ring and the other a blue diamond that belonged to my mother she’s dead. With that being said I have yet to receive any call backs from our room housekeeping we were 605, Kellaway, Nicholas and Mandy we stayed Friday the 7-through Sunday August 9. I have spoke to someone at front desk who indicates the room had not been cleaned up until Monday night then I was ghosted with no calls. I then called last night and was told I wasn’t calling at the correct times to call this morning I called spoke to Katrina she indicated she had NOT been told of any of this and she was the lost and found housekeeping management…why is the fact that my two diamonds were on that table when I left I immediately called was given the run around then told it hadn’t been cleaned on Monday night no call backs and now the member of management says she hasn’t heard a thing? Are my rings missing? I’m sure you can review footage and confirm I had those on every single time I left that room outside of when I checked out as I added sunscreen and had to wash my hands using the hand towel I left on the sink to the left, I’m very particular I apologize but can detail anything…please assist me no one at the location seems to want me to have my items back

Not worth it

The bed had coffee stains on the comforter. The towel rack and the electrical outlet both came out of the wall. Then if you looked at the ceiling light there was holes all around it from what looked like a drill. For sure not worth what I paid

The good: Excellent location! You’ll have a nice view of Lake Erie and a shuttle to locations within a mile, which includes some popular locations. The bed is super comfy! The staff members, thankfully, are generally hospitable and accommodating. A maintenance gentleman allowed me to use his adapter during my stay. The bad: They’re obviously updating the property. Part of my hallway was blocked off, and the room had moderate (but not intolerable) cosmetic imperfections. The USB ports did not work. No room service for four days. I had to ask for fresh towels. Overall: a good stay at a reasonable price.
