Not the cleanest place I've been in. Had the worst experience ever for breakfast at the hotel restaurant. I am a restaurant owner and understand the trials and realize they were woefully understaffed. I won't go into detail but there was nothing good to take away from that experience and I really want to find something. Just don't.

The lobby smelled strongly of soap. The tv was old and we could t watch Netflix.

The staff was courteous and professional. The building itself is outdated. Our room was disgusting, as it had a large smear of something on the window, there wasn’t a fan in the bathroom and there was a fixture literally rotting out of the wall with mold, crumbs on the top of the beds upon arrival. The website offers a choice of room view of city or lake side- the lake view is an impossibility due to the orientation of the building to the lake. This hotel was very disappointing.

The good - Staff was friendly, lobby was clean and appealing, and the parking was convenient for a downtown venue. Being able to leave the car there after checking out while we took care of the business we were in town for was a positive. The bad - The room was not great at all. Refrigerator was dirty, candy wrappers were on the floor under the desk, the ac unit front panel was open, and the drain plug in the bath tub wouldn’t stay open. So the tub filled with water while taking a shower. The room also had an unpleasant smell that was slight but still unpleasant. The passageways and room just had a feel of a much lesser hotel than the standards expected from a Doubletree. Also the ice maker was not working. Since there are several options for comfortable hospitality in the area, I feel we probably would have benefited from choosing something other than this Doubletree.

The staff were excellent and helpful. Especially the driver of the shuttle, Carl. He was fun, interactive and took interest in making our experience spectacular. The front desk help were knowledgeable and offered great suggestions for getting around and things to do.

I think Hilton over all needs to address there customer service ., we stay with them a lot and any time there is a issue the staff for The most part doesn’t care . Had my life threatened in the parking lot and all I got was a blank stare and “sorry what would you like me to do” while I get maybe there wasn’t much he could do he could have showed some care and concern instead of his give a crap attitude...

Wasn’t able to check due to them don’t take my pay method and I need my refund

we pre-paid for this hotel stay thru Orbitz. We arrived Friday evening to check in at the hotel and they immediately advised us that they could not check us in because of a water issue. They directed us across the street to a Hilton Hotel where we had to pay for stay (2 nights) a second time. We were told that we would have to work with Orbitz in getting our refund back from the Doubletree. We have been trying to get this back but are getting nowhere. Additionally, we incurred parking fees at the Hilton where we would not have any parking fees at the Doubletree. A orbitz rep told us she would give us a $100 coupon for our inconvenience. We have not received that coupon either. All in all, Orbitz let us down! Can I please get my refund & the coupon I was promised??????????????

Staff was very nice. However there was so much that was wrong in the 36 hourd we were there.

Location great. Odor in room carpet and lack of channel options on tv not good.

Hard to get a hold of the front desk. Called multiple times on different occasions. The shuttle driver was great but handed us a card to call for pick up and none of the options were for the shuttle. Took us a while to get our ride back from the hotel. Check in took about 15 mins. There was a line wrapped around the lobby. Took way too long.

Train going right by the hotel was a sound nuisance, the bugs all around the hotel, and particularly the garage were horrific, and our bathtub was awful

Great place to stay, totally close to everything in downtown. Pool was closed due to COVID-19 distancing; it would have been nice to know beforehand. They have a shuttle which takes you downtown, this too was not announced until checking out.
