Friendly staff! Comfortable large room! Reasonable rates! Very nice bed. Surprisingly quiet for being downtown! Close to all major sports venues, and Rock HOF. Close to Cleveland clinic, in fact, on the same street. Very pleased with my stay. I would stay here again

Location is convenient. Parking is secure. Check in was smooth. Although the hotel is older and has some imperfections, it was clean and everything was functional. I didn’t think the breakfast was quite as good as described in other reviews. There was some moisture that developed on our carpet right by the HVAC unit but it didn’t affect our stay. Still, it is a good value and I’d stay here again without hesitation. Hotels like this sometimes get poor reviews from tightly wound people with unrealistic expectations, but if you’re a reasonable person who needs a place to stay for a day or two, you can’t beat it.

Shower was filthy amd had to clean out to take shower The toliet would keep running. The elevator was very old and slow ans sometimes took three or four times for doors to shut. The cleaning staff would keep turning off the heating and cooling and open the closed shades i left for reason. The variety at breakfast was very minimal and not very appealing.

Staff asked to change my room at check. Wasnt aware of the change to the room until after. No tub. Towels were also folded on the rack but had dirt on the bottom. The shower handle shifted while turning on and had mold under it. Lotion bottle for my stay had already been used by someone. Had i not been so tired i would have left.

My entire stay was great! It's located near downtown next to Cleveland State University and Playhouse Theater. Also located near by within 5 -10 minutes is downtown Clevelend, the Flats, the Cavaliers basketball arena and Guardians baseball stadiums. Parking is $14 per day and they do have a buffet breakfast avaliable from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.The staff was professional, pleasant, helpful and I would definitely recommended this hotel to anyone.

The room had chip paint in the walls in the bathroom shower head housing was loose I could see inside the wall toilet housing was loose at the floor base. Needs a total renovation poor lighting only one elevator worked in this hotel, I did not receive my $50 back on my card as promised by the Arab receptionist very disappointed 😔. Staff was courteous nice I would like my $50 back on my card thank you and please notify me when it has been added back to my credit card thank you

When checking in staff asked if we were using pull out bed. After saying yes, they handed me a bag containing bedding for it. I had to carry it to room. only have two elevators and one was broken. We were in town for a football game and lots of people coming in so lines were backed up for the one working elevator. It fit about 4 people. Stairwell looked like something from a horror movie. No heaters were on. One floor looked like heater may have caught on fire recently (black marks on the wall above it). Room had trash on the floor when we came in. Light switches in the bedroom did not work, had to turn on main lamp. Living room area very poorly lit with a large lamp and no light switch or overhead light. Shower had what looked to be mold around the drain. Walls/picture in the bathroom had spots that looked like something wet was sprayed all over and left. Water stains on floor by shower. No door on main bedroom. We had someone on the pullout couch in the living room so no privacy. Couch bed had a huge dip/sag in the middle. Some type of cable was ran through air vent in the bedroom, not secured causing grate to fall off. Window had a huge crack from top to bottom. Breakfast was very disappointing, staff was hovering next to us waiting to clean tables. Waffle maker kept breaking and staff was complaining calling them junk in front of guests. Listing said multiple restaurants attached, they were in a shared building, but walled off and separated, no entrances from hotel
