Great location, quiet and scenic. Pool was very welcome in the heat, and is shared by everyone on the site. You do need a car as taxi's can be very expensive. Local town of Cisternino, was easy to find and have great vibe, charming restaurants and bars and a couple of supermarkets. We visited the other local tourist traps of Alberobello and Lecce. Beaches about 30 min drive, we chose to rent chairs from a private beach club, as the public beaches were not very accessible.Wifi was hit and miss and no coverage at pool. Apartment was very small which was expected but did not provide any comfy seating, dining chairs only. Bed had plastic mattress cover, which wrinkled under the thin sheet, very uncomfortable. The tiny shower was fine for me but friend is 6'3 and hit his head. Lots of mold and damp visible but shower itself worked well, No TV, which did not bother us but is listed as one of the amenities. The owner's dog came to greet us on a daily basis, and the neighbour's in the adjoining apartments were great company. We would return but probably invest in one of the larger apartments.
