Outside there is a charming courtyard garden at the back which is the perfect spot for lunches or Al fresco feasting and aperitifs in the summer and a small garden to the front. There’s a huge array of things to do nearby, from Blenheim Palace, to the Cornbury Estate, to the beautiful town of Charlbury up the road with its lovely pubs or Farmer’s Market. Call in at Jeremy Clarkson’s farm Diddly Squat near Chadlington or visit his new pub The Farmers Dog, or be blown away by the incredible produce and spa at Daylesford Organic. Estelle Manor can be found a few minutes drive away as can Soho Farmhouse. Hop into the car and not far away you’ll find the many picturesque chocolate box villages and towns of Bibury, Burford, Stow on the Wold and the Slaughters as well as many more for sights that will take your breath away.
