I stupidly booked this hotel thinking for 140$ a night it can’t be that bad. Oh man. People were making drug deals in the parking lot. Swearing and yelling all night. A huge pit bull dog charged at me with my young daughter when exiting the hotel room. The room smelled like a pack of cigarettes had been smoked just moments before and she tried to tell me she wasn’t switching me rooms until I demanded money back. At one point someone pounded on our window at 4 am. This was terrifying
I have stayed here over a dozen times and always had a good room. I was given room 170 this time which is right next to the main road. Noise I could not sleep and decided at 2:30 am to just leave and finish my trip east. No AC, unless you open the window and then the noise is even louder. Worst bed ever, I went to sleep in the chair as there is no couch! I was so happy to leave I will never stay here again after being a long time traveller and customer.
For the price the room is good value but expect road noise, trains and possible hourly guests. The booking experience is fairly easy online and rooms are clean and ready upon arrival. Great location for getting a room close to the highway in the Fraser valley but with that dies come some noise.
We stayed at this location because it was a best western and I really like the BW brand. The entire experience was a nightmare. The room reeked of cigarette smoke, I was awoken to someone swearing and making a drug deal in the parking lot at 630am the first morning and the walkways were littered with cigarette butts and dog feces. My room had bobby pins all over the floor of which I do not use and I was unsure if my towel I left on the floor was haphazardly folded and put back or if I truly got a new towel. The only plus the entire trip was when the manager moved us to a nicer suite because i could not sleep due to the entire room smelling of fresh cigarette smoke as I tried to go to sleep on the first night. The front desk cancelled our reservation after 2 days of a 4 night stay without notifying us after I tried to move our reservation to another BW hotel via the best western customer service phone line. We came back to being locked out of our room with all of our things inside and told our reservation was cancelled. The next morning I had to rebook the following 2 days which was also a horrid nightmare. This staff member who rebooked us was kind. I’ll give them that. The 3rd day I slipped on black ice on a walkway severely injuring my knee and the 4th night the power was out and 2 scary men approached us in the parking lot yelling about the hotel staff. The only plus was even with the power outage we were able to access our room. A vehicle revved it’s engine in the parking lot every night between 11pm-12am also all 3 nights
Very quiet even though semi-truck parking and highway 1 is across street. Always a good stay. But as all hotel you will see a drug deal take place in big parking lot . Restaurant is a good local eatery
great quality for great affordable price friendly staff quiet convenient to access to number one highway and quick trip to airport close to several coffee shops restaurants and shopping ideal location
I had to unclog my own shower drain. The room was smelling funny. There was some dirty tissues behind fourniture in the room. And there was funny business going around in the adjacent room. To noisy, walls are paper tins.
Not impressed with the fact that a room for 3 people only had one face cloth, one hand towel and 2 bath towels. I left a card on the door asking hotel staff for more towels and cleaner bedding. Wasn't done the second night.
My wife and I traveled to Abbotsford last minute and did not have a hotel lined up. the staff were very helpful and accommodating. we used to pool and hot tub, both were clean and the hot tub lived up to the name. We will return.
Appreciate this good opportunity to have a safe, affordable, comfortable stay. The room is spacious, the bathroom is great and the towels are fluffy. Internet is fine! A good restaurant is right there and the meal deals are terrific.
