2nd time staying here and this time was much different. We stayed in the 2nd floor and there was a horrible very strong odor of mold or mildew in the hallways. The smell was so strong it was coming into our room. Housecleaning kept spraying but you cannot remove that smell with a spray. You need to remove the carpet! I hope management is fixing this problem? Our shower was also leaking. The shower door did not close completely so water spills out onto the floor causing flooding in the tile grout. I will be spending a lot of time in Chico for the next several years but I'm not sure I will pick this hotel in the future. Staff was wonderful as always and the hotel is very clean.
