The beautiful and quietness of the environment. The food is good and the service is excellent

Our room was cwry nice. Beautiful, large kitchen table, living room and large bed. Large windowantjat opens all the way to catch a nice breeze, Laundry room and pool. However, there qere little things such as the one elevator that was a 2 min walk from room because hallways are so ling, and no shampoo or conditioner or soap in shower. The bath stopper was broken so I couldnt bath my little ones. The room wasnt the cleanest when I got there and I actually brought cleaning spray to clean myself. However it did have beautiful views outside and the room was more like an apartment than a hotel. Definently need more elevators in that huge building and make sure you bring your own shampoo, soqp and conditioner!

Need heat in the hall ways.would stay there again.

Great breakfast, nice room, comfortable beds, good wifi

Our six flags trip was great and it was topped off with some very comfortable beds to end our long day.

The hotel was good but The breakfast was horrible to be honest.

The hotel was nice. I wish the hotel was more centrally located near 6 Flags in Gurnee Illinois. Otherwise the rooms were nice and spacous

Seems hotels has been sold and no longer Hawthorne Suites. Good thing I saw a picture of the hotel on-line and recognized the building shape. The hotel seems to be owned by a private hotel owner now and is called the "Lotus Inn". Owners/staff seem new to hotel industry and/or management and are trying but don't have it all together yet... called front desk from room for wake-up call; rang endlessly with no answer. Finally called with my cell phone and got a response (probably thought outside potential customer). Room was big but property overall seems tired and need updating. Hot breakfast but average overall.

Arrived earlier than scheduled and I asked if I could check in early for an extra fee. The front desk clerk made some calls and said it was ok and there would be no extra fee. I was so greatful for it and went to my room to get some sleep. I was awaken by a phone call by a lady who was rude and said there was a mistake and if I didn't check out in an hour I was going to be charged another day! So I checked in Sunday morning and had to check out Sunday at noon and my hotel itinerary was sun-Mon. I was upset and felt so ripped off I just left!

We have stayed here before and the rooms are as clean as can be expected considering the age of the hotel. Carpeting needs replaced. The SPA was very cold, the pool warmer than the SPA. The attendant on duty said the maintenance man had just serviced it, but our nephew had the same complaint the day before....it had not warmed up. The fridge was off and had some mold on the door that had to be cleaned before putting any food in it. The bed is very comfortable. That is what brought us back here for this visit. Overall, the Hotel is pretty clean, but definately in need of some upgrading. Beds are awesome! Don't expect the ritz, but you can be comfortable.

This place is first class. Lovely rooms and situated on a wonderful golf course. This is the second time we have stayed here and would do so again.

The hotel is in located in a quiet area, with easy fast access to one of the areas business districts. The grounds are very nice (golf course), with plenty of greenery and waterfall. The room(s) were spacious, clean, with a good bed and full size bath. The snack bar is very limited for food options, but dishes and utinsels were available for use in the room upon request.

Went to a high school reunion. The hotel'slocation was perfect and the area was quiet. Breakfast was very good and offered a variety of items.

We really liked having two separate rooms, one for the parents and one for the kids. Location worked great for Six Flags!

Comfy room, quiet. Hotel decorating could use updating. Seems a bit shabby.
