Big, clean rooms. Good price. Decent location just outside of downtown. Nothing in walking distance for visitors. No amenities and hardly any necessities like shower gel. FREE PARKING though.

Hotel offers great amenities (namely free parking).

Good things: location to downtown, easy access to bus, free wifi, great staff, clean room, free parking*. not so good things: room was facing street side where the train made loud noise. try to get on the inside for peaceful sleep, loud clatter from air conditioner at low or high speed, absolute worse pillows ruining night sleep, one elevator out of service causing delays. free parking only if space available. expect to park on street if you arrive late as we did, bad tasting coffee, no microwave in room, only one available in business center. for the price paid a strictly below average hotel.

This hotel is located a short 15 minute bus ride to center of State Street and then two blocks to Michigan Ave. The Chicago South Loop hotel has everything you need for a pleasant stay and FREE Parking!!! Would stay again to enjoy both the location and the friendly staff. We were able to stay five nights in the city without breaking the bank.

would not stay here again. Price good, free parking nice but room had 2 empty beer bottles left over from previous guests and the bathroom shampoo and body lotion dispensers were empty. Noticed when taking shower. Doesn't feel like a well kept hotel

Had a great experience, the area is south of down town, neighborhood is quiet. We took in the sites had lunch at Carsons, dinner at Ginos pizza and spent time with family..

The Chicago Loop Hotel was fine but they put us in their "sister" hotel for the 1st night due to a/c issues! Really bad neighborhood and had to pack up and move the 2nd night. Told us they would give us some credit for the extra hassle and taxi, but nothing. We booked 3 months in advance - move somebody else! Ended up the 2nd night with no a/c but a fan so it never got fixed. Paid far too much for the hassle we went through. On top of that, they charged my card a total of 5 times! "Woops" Had to wait for all the credits back.

The hotel is a little bit old. The room is not look like on the picture. It is not very clean. But the hotel is near to Chinatown, very nice.

ATTENDED A MUSIC FESTIVAL AT NORTHERLY ISLAND PAVILION AND THIS HOTEL WORKED OUT GREAT!!

Everything was wonderful as far as the front desk help, cleanliness of the room and perfect fitness facility. My only complaint is that they were not able to accommodate a late checkout for me Saturday. And the continental breakfast started a bit late since I need to leave by 7:30 for the conference I was attending there. I appreciated there being a refrigerator in my room and free parking. Those things are important to me when I travel. I would definitely stay there again when in town.

With a price much lower than downtown hotels, we expected lower quality and hoped for the best. We were pleasantly surprised. The location is just south of downtown just off the freeway, with easy access to get back on. Easy circular drive to check in and free parking. The lobby was spacious and attractive. The staff could not have been friendlier or more welcoming. The room was large and clean, with refrigerator and free wifi. Beds and pillows were very comfortable.

staff was very accomadating when i called to check-in early since our flight was arriving early in the morning. Staff was also very helpful when they arranged to hold out bags after check-out so we could do some last minute sightseeing since our flight would not take off til later in the evening. i did not like that the housekeeper did not clean our room while we were gone but on checkout day, we must have had 3 different housekeepers come to the room before checkout time to ask what time we would be leaving (they do know what time is check out right??!!). I thought this was very rude and i guess they were very anxious to get us out of the room so they could clean it but i wish they had this gumption the day before when we were out sightseeing.

I had stayed here many times in the past. It is close to Chinatown for meals:) Room was always quiet and clean. Staff always friendly! However, this time around, everything went wrong. In the middle of the night, a group of people was yelling and loud talking in the hall way for about 5 minutes. Then later the same night (early in the morning), a car alarm went off for about 20 minutes!!! No staff took action. Finally, the car's battery died down and the alarm was not sounding as loud as the beginning. Any way, it is time to find another "home hotel" for my future stays.

Wery nice hotel with parking. 12 min walk to McCormick Place West Bldg

This hotel was really nice in what I was worried would be a not-so-nice area. Turns out it was the perfect location for our needs and accessing McCormick place. Really nice hotel and comfortable room. We were pleasantly surprised and will be returning again in the future!

Great price. Front desk was AAAA+++++. Very polite and helpful. Rooms were clean and nice. And on top of that free parking.

It's an OK hotel. It's not the Hyatt or the Hilton, it's way better than the Red Roof Inn. Rooms are nice, very clean, spacious. You don't feel you are in a presidential suite, but it's a big step up from the lice infested Motel 6. It has a bar/restaurant and a nice gym for the guests. Staff is good and provide great service. If your on a budget but don't want to contract scabies from the Super 8, this is a good option.

Place was alright. Neighborhood was a little rough. Rooms were descent but dated. Price a little more than the hotel was worth.

great value for the budget minded in chicago

very average hotel

nice hotel close to mccormic convention centre

McCormic Convention Centre where we celebrated 100 years of service to humanity

Enjoyed my stay very much and found all the staff very nice and helpful. Woudn't mind coming back again.

moved to different hotel
