Hotel is located in the city area, very convenience to walk around find food to eat or shopping. Room are nice and clean. Staff are friendly and welcome. Variety choices for breakfast. We will definitely return to this hotel
I have a good experience with DusitD2 hotel. The room is big and comfortable. The hotel offers tranquility and is conveniently within walking distance to Night Bazaar and convenience stores. The service provided by the staff are also commendable.
We visited chiang mai to see the elephants and check out the town. This hotel was superbly located for these activities. Basically opposite the night bazaar, as well as walking distance to every other night market, this hotel is ideal. It's also a 20min walk to the old town, where you can see all the temples. If you prefer avoiding taxis and transport this is the beat hotel to be at. We also loved how clean the hotel was and that they leave a gift for you most days in your room. A lovely personal touch which means a lot. If I were to ever return I would stay here again!
from the outside of the hotel, it looks terrible. But the inside is beautiful. Staff was kind and helpful. Rooms are big and comfortable. Club room food is bad. Overall, it's a good hotel to stay at. ;)
Very modern multi story hotel with great service. We stayed 2 nights, seperated by a day, and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Rooms arent huge but quiet and comfortable. Beds very good. Well located in Chiang Mai which is quite a big city these days. Booked direct over the web with no issues at checkin, although they do a credit card pre authorisation at checkin which slows the process down a bit. Huge selection food at brekky and all good. Nice egg station to. Dinner we had room service one night and restuarant the other night. Both had good selection western or local food and were very good. Will stay here when next we visit Chiang Mai.
I went to Chiangmai from 10-12 March 2017. I stayed at Dusit D2. I stayed here a few times last year. It was great feeling here. The staffs are friendly and have good service mind. The room is comfortable and clean. I spent one hour at spa. It was very relaxing. Anyway, I think the curtain should be sent to laundry. I found the water spot on the curtain.
Had a great stay at the Dusit D2 Chiang Mai. Staff was excellent and very helpful, helped me set up tickets for a local muay thai fight, and were very knowledgeable of the city and things to do. The beds were very comfortable, and it was just a great hotel all around. It's also in a prime location, outside the center of Chiang Mai square, but close to the night bazaar, and other various night markets. Definitely would come back and stay again. Only thing to watch out for, the mosquitoes! They are no joke!
I had stayed in this hotel in February 2017 for a total of 5 days, and I am extremely happy I chose what I would say is the perfect location. Located about 15 minutes away by taxi from the Chiang Mai International Airport, the hotel is situated at a relatively quiet location, so it is very peaceful, yet it is mere steps away from the night market. Also just a few minutes away (just beside the hotel) is the Ploen Ruedee Night Market, a bustling weekday night market that offers a large and unique selection of local and foreign food, with wares and local produce for sale too. The locals there are able to converse in English, so language was not an issue to me. Local attractions are within walking distance, or a short ride away. There are several temples in Chiang Mai that are really worth visiting. If you prefer something modern, there are also shopping malls and cafes where you can chill and relax. Back in the hotel, there is a floor where we could enquire with the staff regarding travelling to faraway locations, like the Elephant Sanctuary. I had stayed in the hotel's Deluxe Room, and I have to say that I feel more than at home whenever I enter the room. The room is spacious, clean and extremely comfortable (especially the bed)! There is an orange box in the room, which the hotel staff fill with a local souvenir. It is a small gesture, one which I really appreciated. The hotel staff were really welcoming and friendly the moment we first step into the hotel until we checked-out. They greeted us with a warm smile whenever they saw us at the lobby or at the pool, and it really made me felt welcomed. Be it a simple enquiry or asking to borrow the ironing board, the staff gladly assisted us. My one and only gripe is that my shower's temperature would keep changing randomly on its own. However, it is only a minor inconvenience, one that hardly dented my holiday mood. Overall, I would greatly recommend Dusit D2 Chiang Mai to anyone looking for a mid-range hotel in the city. It may be rather pricey compared to other hotels in the area, but it is very much worth the money.
I travelled with my family and I think we made the right choice to stay at this amazing place. The place is very comfortable and we were very happy with everything in the hotel. The service is nice, the staff was friendly and the rooms were very neat and tidy. We would love to extend our stay but sadly everything good has to come to an end. Highly recommended if you are looking for a nice place to stay in chiang mai.
Very friendly staff, clean and well furnished rooms and good food too. Though conversing in English with other than reception staff can sometimes be little problematic, it is a small price to pay. What more can one want while on holidays? Highly recommended.
