This place was fantastic. Well priced step back in time. Kimberly was absolutely adorable and friendly. She really made us feel welcomed and obviously takes a lot of pride in her job. We will certainly be back!
This place has changed hands and it’s a disaster. The outstanding food is a thing of the past. No free breakfast. Interior has been painted but all the charm is gone No more homey feel. The front desk staff were so rude and the food was so bad I will never return
Hotel very accommodating. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. You feel obligated to unwind and unplug. 4 and 6 year olds loved it.
The hotel is very old and historic. We enjoyed it for that reason.
People raved about this Inn so we stayed there for one night then bolted. Downstairs is charming and warm but then we got our room. It was small and ...well... crappy. It looked like it was put together by a kid. Drapes in front of the window were extremely cheap in quality, NOTHING matched to give the room character, cheap modern picture on the wall, miss matched fixtures, small area rugs, no coat hangers in the closet, dresser had drawers that were broken,no where to put your suit case, bad carpentry EVERYWHERE, Terrible spring loaded faucets, hot/cold backwards and paper thin walls. We had a family with two young kids next to us and we heard EVERYTHING pus if someone walked down the hall, it SHOOK our BED. Breakfast was a joke, flat hard overcooked eggs, bacon and a tiny muffin, no toast, no butter, no class. I could not believe the small portions and the extremely bad cooking. We stopped the night before and had dessert, again small but that was tasty, we actually stopped to get breakfast down the road after not finishing the tiny breakfast we had at the Inn.
Nice mountain Inn, view of the mountains. Relaxing atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the rocking chair porches. Would stay here again.
The hotel room was small with no air conditioning, just a fan, and kind of musty smelling. The bathroom was very, very small. A large person would have a very difficult time manipulating. Otherwise, the complimentary breakfast was exceptional and the staff was accommodating.
Lucked into this spot - made reservations at the last minute. Very quiet, restful, charming. Just what the doctor orders for relaxation.
This hotel is a mountain get away. Not for those who need a screen in their face 24/7
Staying in an old beautiful inn like this was simply an amazing experience! Even though electricity and water have been added to each room and there is wifi, you still feel like you've gone back to days gone by. The staff was super! This may not be for everyone, but our family of 3 loved it!
