We loved this place. Every member of the staff was amazing. They helped us resolve a minor problem early in the stay and continued the excellent hospitality throughout our time at the hotel. The location is off the main roadways and tucked fairly far down a dirt road. You definitely will need a rental car at this location. This hotel really is in the jungle. If you don’t like little critters such as ants, spiders, lizards, birds etc. this may not be the place for you. If however you are open to a bit of nature this is an amazing stay.
GPS did not take us to the property, pdf they sent us to make it easier was useless it was a blank file. Neighbors told us how to get there. Missed the entrance because it said- private property no trespassing. Ended up at a dead end and the security told us where it was. Finally got to the gate and had to honk for someone to open the gate. No one was at the front desk. Stood there for about 15 minutes, I had to go find someone then we got our keys. When we got to our room we noticed there was no water, that lasted for about an hour. The room had no A/C and no hot water. Place was really beautiful tho
